CODE really is the end-boss of Eve.

It's the only organization I know that somehow manages to pull off having an utterly minimal impact on the game world, yet is seconds from destroying everything there is about Eve.

According to the critics, their chosen playstyle needs nerfed into the ground, but never seems to influence the people calling for nerfs.

Total PVP scrubs who can't destroy anything, yet need to be banned for the amount of havoc they cause blowing up spaceships.


Cognitive dissonance is a helluva thing to see in action.


You are rather silly, I personally rather like the content created by CODE, however your petitioning of players who swear at you in local is rather sad, and means you are gaming the players, if you stopped doing that then I would have some respect for you, but seeing that I just think you and your entire mode of operation is rather pathetic.

Instead of complaining about Hyperdunking I went out to stop it within the game, and did so multiple times along with others, I also removed the POs that CODE was using in Niarja, and yet you even start to believe your own propaganda about people who oppose you which makes you doubly sad...

We, but we were down to only six at one point so we did have to dunk the last guy. If I were good enough to multibox a bumper at the same time, I'd give that a try myself, it's pretty fun.

It's pretty simple, follow the rules. I mean, it's right here, number 2 on the ToS.

You may not use any abusive, defamatory, ethnically or racially offensive, harassing, harmful, hateful, obscene, offensive, sexually explicit, threatening or vulgar language. (Alternate spelling or partial masking of such words will be reprimanded in the same manner as the actual use of such words.)

Here's the kicker, I don't normally report "casual" cursing, for lack a better term. "Oh **** you guys got me!", that's no biggy. Everybody slips up now and again, it happens.


No, gank target go well beyond an accidental swear word in the heat of the moment. They throw threats, use vile insults, slurs, the whole nine yards.

Those people get my report attention. The ones who call me disgusting slurs based on race and sexual preference. The folks who threaten to **** me and my family. Dat don't fly, and I don't care how mad you are about getting ganked.

Good post.

The resulting troll replies were weak. I skimmed past the rest, did not look like anything interesting or of substance was said for a few pages.

I have always hated the ships that when they are caught, they are dead. No real feasible way to escort them or defend them. Dock / scout + hope or die is boring. Having a fight develop out of being caught would be way more fun.

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

You won't like the answer, but honestly, I can't make that sort of call. I don't know what, if any, policy CODE has about it.

I personally wouldn't report someone for a one-off, "casual" swear that wasn't really directed as an insult, but that's me. If John CODE feels differently about the matter and thinks feels that all swearing is wrong, then it's his prerogative to report it.


It's not CODE making the account action decisions, if they're taken. It's CCP. If you dislike that clause in the ToS, then it's up to you to attempt to get CCP to change it. CCP really frowns on anyone attempting to prevent others from filing support tickets asking about things.

CODE actually got a talking-to about just that topic. It used to be a Red Pen Violation to file a petition against a CODE agent. CCP told CODE to cut that out, as they feel that there shouldn't be any attempts at preventing someone from filing a ticket if they feel they need to.

So that kill on Globby with a small amount of dps from Concord does not count, or where your ships are popped earlier and reduces the DPS on a freighter which survives does not count, who would have thought that...
