Ohhh please get this out soon, I really want to put my GTX 770 to the max for eve. Also I must ask when this becomes implemented, will the AA (Anti-Aliasing) be improved?

And here I am thinking they particularly mentioned it during fanfest in combination with the download on demand, which would make this possible.

OFC! This would be an amazing addition to the game to refresh the look. Stations are looking bad especially and a retexture would make me play the game more (because im really shallow when it comes to games and graphics xD)

They have always been able to bring it. Even if it had meant manually downloading and adding/switching some files yourself. Fact is that the last 3-4 fanfests (since I started playing, maybe before) they have done the same thing. They have acted surprised that we want the textures released and told us to suggest it on the forums. I don't see how it can take over 4 years to release something they admit to already having.

Just release them already, gawd!

I endorse this so much. I just took a trip around some of the regions and I have to say I've spent something like 20 minutes staring at this while listening to some regular 0.0 ambient. Made me go back to the first time I played Freelancer and felt the perpetuous vastness of space. Watching that kind of eye candy makes one feel truly humbled, so let us be humbled with more details Sad
