Last I checked , stupid and willfully ignorant players were still contributing the same amount to play the game as anyone else , and while they may not have your respect in game, they are doing their bit to keep the lights on at CCP.

I don't mind having stupid and willfully ignorant people playing Eve. I love them! They're the easiest ones, overall, to blow up. They're the type who thinks hisec is safe, no need to tank, etcetc.

In short, the willfully ignorant are fodder for my playstyle.

Lady Fappingtton, your candor is much appreciated here. Although it is difficult to gauge where your loyalties lie at the present, considering your blank bio and npc corp membership, I'm sure most of the readers are aware of your prior (and perhaps current) affiliation with code and the new order.
Its refreshing for myself and probably a bit liberating for you to rid yourself of the same tired old code rhetoric (honuor, saving hi-sec,helping newbies) ,and finally admit that the real appeal of blowing up barges, exhumers, afkers, pods shuttles and all other types of indy ships, is because its so easy.

I'm happy to see Gorila finally join in on the fun part of the game. You did a good job as an anti-ganker under difficult circumstances and now you claimed your rightful place as a true Champion of Highsec in our elite PvP corp. I'm looking forward to good times with you in corp and fleet.

I would also like to take some time to thank our undercover Agent Veers Belvar, as he once again did a brilliant job at turning our worst enemies into friends. Thank you Veers, not only for the CODE. corp rosters you fill, but for all the people who donate money to the New Order because of your important work as a forum troll. It's not that we couldn't do this without you, but you are certainly a valued contributor to the cause. Keep up the good work, it enables James 315 to supply so many newbro gankers with the money they need for their Catalysts.

This post, from my favorite CODE agent, merits a response. One of the more absurd and nonsensical claims that appears on this forum revolves around me somehow being an undercover code agent/recruiter/fundraiser. Nothing could be further from the truth. I am a resolute opponent of code, of ganking, of griefing, of scamming, of awoxxing, and of all other negative, illegal, and immoral activities in highsec. I've never engaged in such conduct, and have denounced it at every opportunity. I am one of the biggest advocates of a safer and friendlier highsec, where new players can work together to accumulate isk without getting curbstomped by griefers. I refused to purchase a code permit, and even declined one when offered for free.

As as Gorilla is concerned, I immediately identified him as a potential CODE supporter. People were shocked by my observations..how could I, Veers Belvar, a simple incursion runner, accuse Gorilla, an AG leader and anti-ganking FC of being an undercover code groupie. I took a lot of heat for what I said, and people accused me of being an undercover code agent trying to undermine faith in Gorilla. A common refrain was "Gorila spends all of his time fighting CODE and blowing up their ships, what exactly do you do? He is the real AG person here, not you." Oh, how much reality vindicates my instincts and judgement!

Inquiring minds (there must be at least a handful here!) might ask...Veers, how did you realize was secretly a bad guy when everyone else was convinced he was a hero? Folks, I'm gonna let you in on some secrets here. Gorila displayed all the emotional signs of a ganker supporter. Anger, frustration, poor grammar, and a biting sarcasm. There are two types of people who play this game. There are those who mine, run missions, run incursions, trade, etc... PvE focused players, and they enjoy collaborative and positive PvE play that revolves around working together to better the common good. Then there are folks who despise those I just mentioned. When they see people working together to have fun and make isk, they are filled with rage, and do everything they can to disrupt the fun, and spread misery and despair. Those are folks like James 315, like Loyalanon, and like all the other code supporters. Now Gorila on the face of things was a complicated fellow. He was angry and frustrated by the game, but he seemed to channel his efforts into shooting at the bad guys, so maybe he was a hero after all. But it can't be so...the angry players will always end up villains. Much like Anakin Skywalker...embracing the powers of the dark side ultimately leads to your corruption and ruin. Real AG folks are happy and cheerful, and play Eve to help others enjoy the game more. If you are constantly angry and frustrated, you will never achieve satisfaction in AG, and will end up joining CODE.

To wit, it was obvious to me from the getgo that Gorila was a double agent, even if he didn't know it himself! Here is the crux of the matter folks...if your highsec play revolves around PvP, you are probably going to end up in CODE. If you want to stay pure, avoid PvP and stick to PvE in highsec. The whole anti-gank fleet thing is just gonna end up recruiting people for CODE...it doesn't work, and it turns you into a villain. Don't do it. And to be clear, I'm not part of AG, so I speak here for myself, and only for myself.

Hello Veers I have heard much said about you...but I expect you know little if anything of me

It is interesting I must say that gorilla did not simply conceal his involvement with the code and declared it on an open forum...the Majority of The AG(its expected the code. initiates have an alt in it) have yet to do so as this is not the Code. way by any means

I am glad that immoral behaviour takes place in this game and not in the real world it gives me the opportunity in a safe environment to understand it and counter in a RL situation or at least not be blind to its approach

The Projects Dealings with Gorilla have been honourable and he is one of the truest white knights and a all round decent bloke in the game and this is why- white knights are trying to do the right thing....RL death threats are quite simply the Wrong thing...and an actual issue

This does not put code in the clear I have been on the receiving end a number of times of their permit request and have managed to at least retain my silence and not give them the tears they so crave...they provoke a intensely negative response using sly and underhanded tactics ...I suspect Code is run by angry 15 yr kids with daddy issues and why James wants Nothing to do with them

Gorilla has made his choice and the Project supports him

Ha! I don't troll, am an expert at all things Eve, and am the farthest thing from an idiot you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. What I do quite effectively is expose you Code folks for the griefers you are. Your entire gameplay revolves around trying to make law abiding PvE players miserable, so that they quit the game in a fit of rage. Thankfully, in the long run your strategy cannot stand. Whether through punishments from CCP, gameplay changes, or resistance from hardened and elite PvE experts like me, code will be relegated to the dustbin of history.

As someone who used to post alerts in AG and Gank-Intel, the OP was a relief to read. The often-toxic atmosphere in the former channel drove me away well before one of them (Anti-ganking!) targeted me in a belt I was salvaging in and accused me of being a CODE. alt.

Gorila, I hope you enjoy the other side of the conflict far more than what AG turned into. Hearing about CODE. was a pleasant surprise upon re-subbing, as both they and any response they provoke give lie to the snobbish argument that the "real" game only begins once you leave highsec.

Not everyone can shrug off something like that. Hell you killing them may even mean they cannot buy the PLEX to continue playing for another month, driving subs away from the game and making our community smaller.
But they could have easily prevented the explosion. I doubt they truly cared about something that got destroyed because they didn't do some research. And as for the community bit, I doubt there was much they were doing anything anyway except putting ore into the market. They're normally not even paying attention to eve, so how do they mix into the community? Unless you mean active subscribers.

It really is easy. I mean, all combat in Eve is just a matter of numbers, but the willfully ignorant in highsec just make it even easier by their own activities. That, I think, is the key point of the matter. There are plenty of intelligent miners, shuttle pilots, etc in Eve. You don't hear much from them, because they are going about the game, not getting blown up often, and having fun. The hypothetical anti-tanked AFK retriever in a belt is just putting out the big neon sign that says "I'm an easy mark, mug me!" You don't want to be an easy mark in Eve, you want to be the wary guy looking down all the dark alleyways, coz you never know when the big mean mugger (me) is lurking there waiting for someone.

Trust me, I still agree with Code and what they do. If blowing up a newbie early in the game teaches him or her to be more aware, it's a net gain for Eve overall. When you dig past all the humor and sarcasm of Code, you find out that's all it's saying: be alert, play Eve, don't just be a fixture no better than an NPC rat. Interact, don't just react.

I blow up the industrial ships, because that's where the ISK is for me. I've made no secret of the fact that, I sell mining stuff and implants. Every mining barge and pod that dies is a few more ISK in my pocket. Why wouldn't I support Code?

As for NPC membership and blank bio, I'm practicing the "you don't have to be in CODE to enforce The Code.". It's nothing bad, and purely for personal reasons. If you really want to find out why, just drop me an Eve-mail.

Personally I say CODE does a service to the community by forcing out the stupid and willfully ignorant players from a game they shouldn't be playing, because in all honesty it's not the game for that type of person. EVE doesn't need a player that needs his hand held and every given moment and one that forever cries to be protected by his NPC 'Police' (Here's also a hint, CONCORD is not the police' they are more of a punisher type entity).

...

Whats ugly, is a bunch of whiners complaining about 'unfair' mechanics. Nothing in EVE is fair. Learn that quickly it's designed to be that way. You are given a choice. That choice decides how unfair it will be, weather in your favor or your opponent. The quicker New-Bros learn that. The quicker they will excel in the game.

What I find ugly and also weirdly amusing is the spouting off by some players about who should or should not be playing Eve. What you are saying is a bit ridiculous. So because the inept pay the same amount of money, somehow they are entitled to something that isn't already offered? That's like saying because you payed for the gasoline that you threw on the bonfire, somehow you shouldn't get burned. Eve is what it is..it's own entity. You either adapt or die. Crying for change is NOT going to make it the shangri-la you hope it to be. You can either accept the fact that Eve is the way it is, or play something else. If you go to a Mexican restaurant but you're in the mood for Italian, you eat somewhere else...not expect them to change their menu to what you want just because you are another "paying customer". So you say you shouldn't have to play something else? Well, if you're going to play with fire, you will get burned. Eve is the fire...Question is, will you prepare yourself it..or cry when the fire burns you then blame the fire for burning you.. You know the old saying..."if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen"? It applies to Eve in so many ways. If you aren't having fun playing Eve the way it is...stop playing it..period.

Respect is earned, not given. You will never earn respect with incessant childish whining. I had to earn my way up. I am a less than 5% minority in this game and still i adapted and grew. If I had the cojones to step up and learn, what is the problem with others? Sure, the learning curve is steep. Eve is my first MMO..and the only computer game I have ever played. I have always been a gamer...but console gamer. I had to learn and adapt...and so do you and others. No one is going to hold your hand. It irks me to no end to hear so many whiny "men" in one place. It's kind of sad when the one who doesn't even have a "pair" has a bigger "pair" than a huge percentage of people playing the game. Move up...or move on...it's as simple as that.Ugh

The real joke here is CODE. After 500 billion isk lit on fire, endless rage, tears, and double agents, there is now more afk mining than ever. The organization has proven to be one of the biggest money sinks in the history of Eve online, and all while accomplishing not an iota of its mission. Code isn't supposed to be about getting guys like Gorila to backstab AG, it's supposed to be about fundamentally changing highsec and Eve...and in that it has failed spectacularly.

while i agree with this, i also disagree that people should intimidate people or make them feel shame for their chosen play style on "blogs" or places where all the purpose is to illicit the kind of attitude or action you are against.

don't want RL threats, keep the game in the game and the BS out of RL unless you want RL......BS.....shouldn't be hard to understand really. play however you want, gank, tank, or bank. it doesn't matter how you play, but when you are the ganker or the "winning side in one" and you start BS people out of game..... what Dafuq do you think will happen. Shocked SMFH.

it is like going up to a certain ethnic person and saying the n-word and then not expecting your head to be knocked off. now you can fight said person you caused "grief" to or you can be a colloquial term for cats. however going online in public domain outside of a game and making a fool of yourself.....the guy offended finds out........Roll really?> i mean really you don't expect some people to not be "balanced" in real life due to that sort of BS? i mean how could you not see it.....

are people blind? no.....didn't think so otherwise "EVE is not the game for you/them.....Slogan™" "EVE: the game for no one™"

play how you want but keep it in game, if you want your opponent to keep it in game acting like a ****** wit only means they have right to behave the same way......RL isn't a game, so quit acting like it is by posting crap outside of the game. unless you truly don't mind the kind of actions this thread is about

[which due to all the CODIES they seem to think counter to that based on their express opinion mentioned in this thread- example they don't think threats in RL is good, personally i don't think making game issues a RL issue, but those whom make the Game RL by insulting others based on their play style out of game should only expect some out of game consequences as that is what those in CODE. expect from everyone in game to not make it out of game which is rather hypocritical to say the least.......]

TLDR: in which to say why have an issue if you are part of the problem. if you don't want problems be part of the solution. the solution is keep it ingame.
