devs want everyone in eve to sit in a circle and circle jerk. sorry to break it to you devs but that is not where society is going. if nullbears are tired of circle jerking each other, have them change hands, swap stained sweaty seat cushions, change places in the circle, try doing it underwater, join the circle jerkers mile high club or stand up and get a conga line going. not everyone wants to be a nullbear bitc# running around having a master telling you what to do, when to do it, where to do it and abusing you on social media even if all their instructions were followed to the letter.

okay you have got to tell me what nullsec organization you had this experience in

Hello, I must say that on the test server I could not appreciate the advantages of the new manufactory system but today, in really jobs I find it very useful, good.
When is to have multiple inventions?

SpacePhoenix -- I think I have to mildly disagree with your statement -- it would have been better written "there is absolutely nothing in this patch that is good if you are truly into various aspects of industry - but there are all kinds of advantages if you are a Goon!"

It is really a shame that most of those who do industry are not commenting now - but most seem to be taking the attitude - "would of, should of, could of - spoken out before but CCP probably won't do anything now." I had one close in-game friend comment "but if I say anything now, I will only set myself up for attacks when I am in space from the Goons."

No....we long time industry pilots are here and have read and have commented but to no avail will this patch be reversed or fixed or even mildly discussed any further so I think it is time for me to let this game Die from my household.

Its been a great 6 years and lots of changes but this one has really rubbed me wrong in many ways.

I love how the community assumes EVERYTHING the devs say is a promise. I HIGHLY doubt they promised anything because they know situations like these can arise.

And besides, what was "lost" was time to research something to a theoretical benefit (under the old system) which now has been converted into something that has actual benefit (and the top end benefit at that). I imagine for most if not all players, that so called "lost" time was not mutually exclusive to any other action thus nothing of any value was actually lost. Yet

Evil I think CCP screwed us all over.. I have researched most of my BPO's for material as well as time effiency. I figured out that if I researched them to at least 200 then I reduced the " wastage factor " to ZERO !!! Which I ASSUME would be about 20% in the new system of doing research... NOW we only can do it to 10% ... that really bites. I found that if I researched to more than 200 or 20% that I reduced my material requirements even more for those BPO's X when I would build with them.
Question All that time I spent doing Extra research on my BPO's didn't pay off for me as well as a few other I would think. I don't know why this is even an issue... BUT it IS !
If This is the way of the Future of EVE ... We should have our BPO's "grand fathered " in to what they were before this all happened.
I thought that Once You can FLY Something then You Don't Lose That Ability to do so... It should be the same way with our Blue Prints that we have spent time and Real MONEY ... YES Money because I have spent money to make sure that I can Play EVE as well as for training , (skill books, ships)...
You need to correct this... Twisted

nope

the window for any potential grandfathering is long since passed and the change is now permanent

I am sure this is covered somewhere, however I am asking endorsing or suggesting as it applies.

POS Owner - (corp) = corp members - should receive a job start cost reduction in jobs at that facility, should be scaled according to location, reduction based on current values 1.0-.5 slight -10%, .4 to .0 Medium -20%, Null large 30% reduction.
Cost requirements as a whole need a look into and polish.

Good job so far, yes there are areas that need polish. New UI interface, (once you figure it out) makes the process a lot more streamlined. those who are having trouble, quit making it so complicated.

Next suggestion - Jobs run. Once a job is set up, you should be able to see the material requirements for the whole job. as it is now you have it set to scale with job size, getting a spreadsheet to scale accurately has somewhat eluded me and others.
Or if it is there already make it more visible.

I'm one of those that used to do industry (around 80 odd jobs at a time), currently I have about a dozen (installed pre-patch) which I am not even sure are worth letting finish.

I must admit that some of the Idea's behind this change were fantastic, the implementation of them and the oversimplification of many aspects of the Industrial side of eve were insulting at best.

I, dare I say it, almost logged on today, opened the launcher over 3 hrs ago, logged in to a client, looked at the three toons at my screen and went outside.

I came back about 30 minutes ago to have a look at this thread and just can't be bothered to play.

The attitude of most of the people I play with is that CCP couldn't care less about lowlife empire dweller scrubs (just to make the goons here happy), never forget we are the sheeple, scubs and pubbies of the world, how on God's given earth should we have an opinion, or any sort of constructive idea.

and now for some more of the same from the Constructive Feedback Consortium.

I guess you are another alt created to mock me and the likes?

Do you think hundreds billions worth of ME500 to ME3000 BPOs were kindly handed me by gracious CCP? No, I am not your alliance, I don't have CSM members nor (former or not) CCP employees making it easy to me.
I had to make the money the hard way FIRST, and no PLEXes were harmed in the process Lol

BPCs were just a filler for me. It's the last 2 years direction in the game (I guess, next they are going to announce F2P and XBOX EvE (aka EVE 4 dumbs); they can't stop digging their grave Oops) that annoys me, not losing some billions a month.

Yes hundreds of billions in BPOs seem a lot for a "filler" but I had to pay for POSes because of also having a BPO research service for years (as shown in Market Discussion bonds where I researched BPOs for investees). So I made those POSes work for me when I did not have enough customer jobs to keep them busy.

My main thing remains trading though. Oh, also other 2 things, but I am not going to tell you which ones Twisted

Don't mind "her", it's years I annoy them.

Ya know, openly talking against the baddies they are, except 2 of their economy leaders (Mynna and Aryth) who are REALLY REALLY good and probably without them GS would have been neutered years ago.
Wars are won with money and they are really good at finding ways to make it.

Too bad imo they are being used and squatter-ed by a lot of bloodsuckers who entertrain a nice life they would not be able to remotely afford if they had to participate and work hard to repay losses, ship replacement programs and so on.

Like any good socialist system, it lives nice and happy until taxpayers money is over. And can afford spewing propaganda 24/7.

You are so correct!!! The only people posting that are "supposed 'economic experts' " are those who "were good at was selling hilariously over-researched bpcs". Yeah RIIIGGGHHTTTT!!!!!!!

I have never (yet) researched a BP nor sold one. Have preferred to buy and use the "hilariously over-researched bpcs" because they were more economical both in terms of production time and more particularly in terms of materials. Both of which contribute to the cost of manufacture.

My major isk making is in trading - which I do rather well at. I have 21 units of graduate studies completed towards an MBA, I have owned my own business in the work-aday-world and I have 6 years experience in retail management -- so I probably know at least a "little" about economics and the market.

Now -- let's hear your credentials.
