Another one I've thought of:

Static DED complexes.

They should use the just-about-to-be-added despawn mechanism which is being applied to non statics to prevent farming, all that seemingly should be needed is just a small alteration to make sure they respawn in the same system.

Just another thing to stop farmers/botters having an easy time of it.

Of course, that's providing CCP don't go through with their plans to remove them all.

Thought of something else.

There is a bug involved in the Jamming indicator bar. When going against Guristas, sometimes the the jamming indicator bar stays after the offending ship has been destroyed.

Sometimes, it lasts after the mission is complete. Showing the countdown timer even though the ships have long since been toasted.

Dear CCP Soundwave

EVE could use some cleaning up, many modules that once served a purpose are now obsolete. Some can be changed into something useful. Others are beyond hope and should be removed.

1) All the "basic versions" of modules and their named variants are redundant ("Basic Capacitor Power Relay" etc). Remove them in the name of reducing market clutter.

2) T1 frigates and cruisers: most of the ships in this category need help.

3) Signal Amplifiers, the low slot version of Sensor Boosters, don't compare favorably to their med slot brothers and are underused for this reason.

4) Similarly, Sensor Backup Arrays, the low slot version of ECCM modules, don't compare favorably to their med slot brothers either.

The idea seems to be that low slot modules need to be worse than the med slot equivalent. The problem is, they're much worse (ECCM modules are twice as good as Sensor Backup Arrays), and the same slot could be filled with another type of module where this idea doesn't apply (heat sinks, etc). So I think in the end, this idea is flawed.

5) Speaking about ECCM: Omni ECCM modules makes all the racial ECCM modules redundant, which is fine. Just remove the racial ECCM in the name of reducing market clutter.

6) Automated Targeting systems are redundant.

7) Capacitor Batteries. They are extremely limited in their usefulness. Their fitting requirements are disproportionally high. They should in theory be the module equivalent to Semiconductor Memory Cells.

8) Defender Missiles don't really work well and are also not nearly as strong as Tracking Disrupters on a per-module basis. Consider replacing the entire concept with Point Defense Systems.

9) Regenerative Platings are another orphan module.

When sorting by distance, in the d-scanner, far-away objects with no exact distance (the ones marked with a dash) are all listed above objects with actual numerical distances.

These should be at the bottom of the list. Bear

How about a right-click option to show a channel's motd?

A way to sort assets window by number of jumps would be really useful (EDIT: Fail, drop down to sort by jumps is there Ugh)

POS hangars used to remember their window's last position when opened. When you have a research POS with many labs it gets old really fast having to open each hangar and move its window twice a day for every POS. I bug reported this like 2 years ago. Ugh (EDIT: Fixed on crucible \o/)

Some hairstyles and clothing styles are not available to all races. I'd really like it if they were. Clothing styles being restricted by race are kinda nonsensical but hairstyles is just ridiculous.

3rd post here; Wormhole effects shouldn't be on background; 2nd star should behave same as the primary star; Ships cast shadows from it and it should be warpable object. Like blackholes.

Invent a lowslot module that only the primae can fit: the 'ORE Planetary Hold'
it requires the ORE skill ( the one needed for the noctis that can't be trained on trials).
Each level of that skills allows for one additional 'ORE Planetary hold' fitted.
Each ORE planetary hold adds... hmmm... let's say 2000m3 or 3000m" to your PI resource hold.
Give the primae 5 lows , 1 med , 1 highslot.
Release Primae BPOs from ORE stations. If PI's gonna be a thing then we need a ship to do it in ;)


Outside of game stuff:


- Add more to the concept art section of your website. Eve's concept art is what got me to play. This section hasnt been updated for about a decade.

Just something that popped in my head while navigating around...
an option on the star map called "Mark", that keeps whatever note you want for that system visible. As well as a "Mark for corporation" option, for directors and comms officers. Seriously would help make sense of the map.

-- Skills: Please allow us to inject skills that we cannot yet use/train. And allow us to queue those skills as long as all pre-requisites are met beforehand in the current skill queue.

Edit: Also, another +1 for Bentakhar's Drone HUD suggested earlier in this thread (or something similar). Nice Smile

1- my wallet / orders / FOLDER MANAGEMENT

2 - fixing that broken pin window feature, I don't want anything translucent when I pin stuff. I'm not using the feature because I can't see anything clearly once it's translucent. Also pinned windows should not re-size by themselves no matter what.

3 - chat windows - member list - option to remove face icons and have a more narrower list so less scrolling is needed.

4 - people & places / places - better folder management, the new window that opens after double clicking a folder, should remember its re-sizing, same for fleet watchlist. I'm constantly resizing windows in Eve and it's driving me nuts.

5 - bigger session change timer icon (it's tiny and located top left above system name at the moment).

Since you have been ever so generous to us as of late may I request that you make it so that our buy/sell orders are highlighted in the market list.

It would make things for us market jews that bit quicker plus it probably is a simple change requiring minimal coding (not that I know anything about coding...!).

  • Setting Jobs at a station into a POS, "Select Location" auto returns to BPC location, pretty annoying when doing 100 jobs a day.

  • On the Pos topic. Any chance of having everything runable from the pos. So adding a ammo array adds a new Hold to the tower instead of having run around a Pos full of arrays, you just have to warp to the tower. Small thing, but getting bumped in a frighter and Transport ship has lost the funny.

  • Its not small but needs saying FACTION WARFARE!!

  • Stackable BPCs/BPOs with matching ME, PE, Runs please.

  • Look at mining ships again. Would be nice if you raised the cost of ganking a hulk to something at lease able to see the cost of the ship rather then the 5m worth of Thrashers it currently takes. (Think 4th high slot and Powergrid for a LSE 2)

  • To stop the moaning, remove Pirate Frigs for FW minor plexes. Atm, he who comes in Dram wins. Alittle boring for those guys.

  • The Scaling of the Mac, seeing it next to a Carrier and almost being the same size is alittle stupid. Either make the mac smaller or a Carrier much bigger.

  • An easier way to see if you pointed, webs TD, TP, Damped and so on. Small Icons on the overview don't really cut it. Icons above your cap and modules would be nice.

  • Rorqual in high sec????? What, Or at lease a way to Compress ore in high sec. In some cases the Ore can be worth more then the mins.

  • Remove Drone drops.

Don't ask about Italics, just tilt your head.

Stargates provide the user with a short invulnerability cloak, how about giving the same feature to the much more powerful jump bridges.

a bit late maybe...

when interacting with items in hangars somewhere should be a display of m3 of the current selected items.

kind of annoying having to use ship cargoholds or containers to see the volume of items.

maybe add the container status to the normal station items hangar (minus the limit ofc)

More ship/turret preview window stuffs:

Can we have an option (slider, right click menu) on the preview window to edit the intensity of the light source?

Some models are really quite dark and need some stronger/harsher lighting to be able to pick out details (Noctis is one), it would be nice, even if it's just choosing between 3 presets, to be able to see them clearly.

Same darkness issues also does apply to the actual static ship images, some are rather dark.

If you log out with the corp wallet or deliveries windows open on your main (with access to corp wallet / deliveries), it will give you errors when you login with your alt who might not even be in the same corp.

It seems to try and restore windows that were open on the other characters
