Suggestion: Concord LP for killing Pirates in Empire space
Keywords: Pirates, Crimewatch
Note: Better than bounties, Concord pays people who shoot/kill pirates. Similar to FW payouts. (Maybe only occurs in high sec)



Suggestion: More Large plexes in FW
Keywords: Factional Warfare
Note: Need more instances of unadultered PvP where anybody can bring in anything. Solo/Small groups have a chance to disrupt larger groups by sniping them instead of getting murdered at a warp-in.

Suggestion: Unique ship skins for neglected spaceships
Keywords: Ship, skin, shuttles
Note: Multiple 'unique' ships have the same skin right now.

Ships that need their own skins:

  • Civilian Amarr Shuttle (item id 27299)
  • Civilian Caldari Shuttle (item id 27301)
  • Civilian Gallente Shuttle (item id 27303)
  • Civilian Minmatar Shuttle (item id 27305)
  • Goru's Shuttle (item id 21097)


Also: A light suggestion - Maybe the civilian ships all have the orange/white paint job the old-school Gallente Shuttle had?

There is already a comparison tool, you can set a shortcut to it in the ESC window ("Open Compare Tool" under Window tab) and then drag stuff from market or hangar to it.

Suggestion: Fix gatefire sound
Keywords: audio, sound, cues, situational awareness
Note: The sound that gates make when activated disappeared after a recent patch. It now makes no sound at all. It seems unlikely that it was removed on purpose. I am not referring to the sound you hear when you go through a gate; I am referring to the sound that others on grid hear when you do so.

Can we get the option to scroll left/right in the overview window?

In order to save space in overview, many of us can't see all the columns we want in the overview at once. Having the option to scroll would make it easier to see rarely-used information that still is nonetheless situationally helpful.

    Planets should have a population which affects PI. Keep population happy, you have workers for your extractors and factories. Pollute and your workers work slower or you can't find any to hire and your factories have to shut down.

    • Suggestion: Show crystal damage in cargo hold and hangars.
    • Keywords: ammo, ui
    • Note: Having to load individual crystals to check the damage one by one is really, really, really, tedious, a waste of time and it's been requested for a loooooooong time to actually have it displayed on the ammo itself (once loaded they don't stack anymore anyway). I'd be happy to get rid of some containers I use to store crystals per damage.



    • Suggestion: Visual indication of damaged mods in cargo hold and hangars.
    • Keywords: mods, ui
    • Note: It would really be convenient to spot them in a CHA tab so they can be repaired.



    • Suggestion: Repackage in CHA.

    • Note: This one really calls on some OCD, but really, what's the point of assembling/repackaging mods anyway? why wouldn't they simply repackage themselves when unfitted?



    • Suggestion: Horizontal scrollbars in detailled lists windows.

    • Note: Spreadsheets in space? yeah well Excel does have them... So, market, bookmarks, assets window, dscan, scan results, contracts list and so on...



    • Suggestion: Better WH jump effect.

    • Note: Compared to the gate jump, wh jump is awfully bland, I would have imagined some sort of suction effect with visible nebula change. The wh is nicely showing the nebula color, but when jumping, there's a few ripples, flickering and snap, new nebula background... quite the let down.



    • Suggestion: Keep hud visible in planet view.

    • Note: I'm grateful we still have the overview remaining, but please, why remove the hud??



    • Suggestion: No positionning on Command Center when entering planet view.

    • Note: I always interrupt it since I need to roll the planet to where my actual installations are and that's what I'm interested in, the CC is merely there to be planted, upgraded then forgotten. I don't really see the purpose of zooming onto it as soon as there's one planted on the planet, alternatively, a right-click option to return to the CC if needed, but keep a whole planet view when entering it and let us go straight to business.

  • Suggestion: Add option to reverse mouse scroll wheel zoom direction.

  • Notes: Nearly every other game ever made has scroll-wheel up as zoom in. EVE is the opposite.

  • Suggestion: Add option to change mouse sensitivity for camera rotation.

  • Notes: You can change it for captains quarters, but not for the actual spaceships, which is kinda silly.

    Yes, but note I said "easily". I'm a Systems Administrator by trade (so some dumb IT person tasked with fixing junk I have no idea about) and compared to the newegg comparison tool, I was like how the heck does this thing even work?!

    Suggestion: Update the damn IGB
    Keywords: *******, broken, internet
    Notes: Between more modern web standards (CSS3, html5 even if you don't include all the fancy canvas and audio and video tags), performance enhancements, and bugfixes, I'm sure updating the browser would make the people who write web-based tools happier.

    Even Google, who wrote the base for the browser, doesn't support it anymore.

    Suggestion: Make middle clicking work like every other tab-capable browser in existence

    Notes: EVE's IGB is the only one that doesn't support opening a new tab with middle click.

    Internet Exploder beats you out on this. Internet. Exploder. Seriously, get yer game together! Preferably it'd open tabs in the background so we can continue reading the current page uninterrupted (how many people use the IGB to check up on their corps' or alliance's forums or blogs or whatever?).

    Suggestion: Allow multiple clone storage in the same station

    With the new skills Advanced Infomorph Psychology and Infomorph Synchronizing a player now has a greatly expanded library of clone implant sets to set up and use as well as jumping from one clone to another without ruining the day for play.

    Quite often there are only one or two stations in the staging area of your activities making it only possible to have 2-3 clone implant sets to keep on hand.

    This feature could be limited to stations with cloning facilities and perhaps storage fee's for additional clones could be implemented.

    two little things combined might change how people use bookmarks:
    1) add safe bookmark to cargo option to safe location window
    2) add right click -> locations in cargo -> warp to location option to context menu

    add a shortcut to lock windows. This would lock all pinned windows and make them fixed so you can't move them anymore

    consider making this default for all pinned windows (why pinning something in the first place?)
