I'll keep suggesting it until it happens... such a little thing would make such a big difference...

Suggestion: Allow and expand suffixes in numerical fields e.g 1.5k becomes 1500 if you tab away/ hit enter, etc.

Note: You should probably include AU conversions for scanning and [shudders] 'kk' as a suffix. For the less pedantic among us.

Chrome is stupidly easy to embed with ChromeFrame. I don't think having a working browser is the problem, it's being able to lock it down so they can't be blamed for goons linking viruses that steal your password.

Suggestion: get rid of the CSM

Notes: the CSM is the unfortunate result of CCP dabling into politics. Unfortunately the CSM, since its inception, turned into the mouthpiece of large alliances and all they have been doing since 2008 is nerfing high-sec gameplay while buffing their 'territory'.

  • Suggestion: color highlight for alerts in fleet broadcast history window (various colors for different types of broadcasts).

Suggestion: Remove "Amount to transfer" entry PopUp box when moving fuel from cargo hold to fuel bay when piloting a BlackOps ship

Note: When you are "Bridging bombers and Recons and t3's. You tend to run out of fuel from the BlackOps fuel bay really fast. So when bridging I have to drag fuel from cargo hold to the fuel bay. But as you do that you get a popup that asks you how much you wish to put in. This is bad as you only have 20 seconds cycle time on the bridge and that popup really slows you down from adding more fuel to the fuel bay. Please remove it or at lest give it a tick box option to "Never see this popup again". Thank you

  • Suggestion: I'd like to see the tab in the character info window consist when I cycle through multiple characters.

  • Note: Currently, it seems to count the current window's number of the active tab from the left to decide which tab to show for the next. The problem is that some characters have "Bio" tab while others don't, which means that the number of tabs are inconsistent between them. So if I want to browse the "Employment History" of multiple characters, the inconsistency makes me have to constantly switch tabs back from "Notes" and "Decorations", which is a bit cumbersome.

Suggestion: Preset buttons on the Dscan would be a great help, especially in faction warfare. Perhaps a couple of buttons on the Dscan window that we can preset a range and angle for?

  • As a player that loves to help out new players, I find 100 fits pathetically low. It's not even enough to have 2 variants of every ship in the game (considering that there are FAR MORE than 2 effective fittings for every ship in the game, fitting space should be doubled at the least!)

    • Note: I do not understand on what conditions Add as First Waypoint is supposed to appear, but it's what I want to do more than 50% of the time, and it appears less than 10% of the time.

    Suggestion: Remove things from context menus which can't actually be done on the thing you clicked on.

    The whole point of a context menu is to provide options that match the context. Make Eve's context menus more context sensitive, it will make the UI less intimidating and annoying.

    Suggestion: A "more info"-like button in storyline mission ads telling WHICH factions you will loose (and gain) standing with

    Note: Accepting storyline missions can lower your standings with opposing factions quite fast, but there is no way to tell by how much, with whom or if it will happen at all. It will "affect your standings" - indeed, but especially for new players this is taken (falsely) to mean "improve", and even for seasoned players it requires an external search and a good deal of math to find out if the pros outweigh the cons. Common sense or even logic won't help you, there is no certain pattern to the missions' standing consequences. This suggestion comes out of a post in a different thread: A question: What do you wish you had known? which is just spot on: You suddenly find yourself with terrible standings and very limited options, and you had no clue. Give us a clue, please.

    • Suggestion: Add an option to the Inventory filters to include or exclude containers (including actual containers, ships, ect)

    • Note: Stemmed out of this thread on container repackaging issues. You can jury-rig the issue by excluding objects above or below a certain size but that can end up removing things you might want to see. This would allow players a way to avoid accidentally repackaging a container with 500,000 m3 of random modules when they're actually trying to box up a few modules or ships.





    • Suggestion: Add a warning when you are about to repackage a container with things inside it.

    • Note: Alternatively modify the existing repackaging warning to only go off in the above case since this doesn't make a lot of sense on anything that doesn't qualify as a container (ships, ect). This can be rather confusing to newbies who may think there is a down-side to repackaging modules when no such downside exists. Anyone who's ever had to sort through an entire Station Container's worth of "hanger loot spew" and then gone "where did my guns go!?!" can sympathize. Also the generic repackaging warning is confusing and makes no sense.

    Navigation shortcuts (approach, orbit, keep in range etc.) should work without any mouse-clicking involved for faster decision making. As it works right now you have to hold down the assigned key and then manually click on the target in order for the ship to carry out the command. Clicking the buttons in the "Selected Item" window is often the better choice making the navigation shortcuts redundant. The shortcuts should instead be applied at once to the selected locked target or the item currently in the "Selected Item" window.


    Suggestion: Be able to save ship fittings with extra modules in the cargo

    Note: I have ships I always fly with alternative modules in the cargohold for fast swapping depending on the situation, it should therefore be possible to save cargo modules as a part of the ship's fit.

    When using combat probes, allow a target with 100% scan result who is on grid able to be warped to through the right click or radial menu much like a can or wreck can be.
