Introduce a new clash of ship built with a modular design so it could be good at everything, then prenerf half of the modules so they are totally useless, leave the other half op and call it strategic cruisers.

Have NPC's learn and adapt to player tactics even to the point of recognizing likely tactics based on fleet composition and members.

Add visible copious effect to combat boosters. For example Blue pill will temporary enlarge the ship.

Create a single-use module that will instantly jump your ship through a random number of jumpgates and then self-destruct (the module, I mean).

Pick a random active toon to recieve all of the NPC corp's isk generated from tax rates at the end of every calendar year.
