It's already what the players want it to be, you incomparable imbecile.

It's just not what you want. Hence, your petulant, childish ranting and absurd "suggestions".

Thing is, it's TS for you.

I was there to do it, too many titans and carriers, and other insane fitted ships, I can not even have all my skills because the copy was made some month ago, going to the system also did take 30 minutes from the location I was... however i did see the big gold nuggets flying around, so it was ok, biggest drawback there, you can not fly everything, you can just fly what your skill was at the time they made the copy

If you want instant fight thats where you go.

EVE will never offer what you want on the main server because it flies in the face of everything EVE stands for.

Why would anyone take you in their fleets? Really mate, only option for you to get in to a large fleet fight is to build an ISBoxer fleet of 4000 alts.

His alts wouldn't tolerate his crap, and kick him from fleet.

I don't want to talk to you guys to get into a fleet, thats right, thats the biggest drawback, thats why a gamemode is needed for that

casual players do not want to discuss about fleeting up and fight, they just want to login and click the button for it

you all feel so super about your stuff, don't want to join your corps, don't want to join your alliances... I just want to have my fights without talking to you

however in eve it is needed to talk to some old vets, strange diplos, who just want to be smartass... the casual player does not want that when he wants to paly a game

I want to blast you guys, not explain stuff to you, you just won't get it anyway

You really are playing the wrong game- if all you want is pointless instant PVP, why not play the games that are designed purely around their concept? COD et al, instant action is what those types of games excel at. EVE excels at dramatically different gameplay.

So you've been to wormholes, RvB, lowsec, FW, suicide ganker, sov blobs, NPC null, hisec wardeccer in these 4 months you've been playing? Please tell us about your experiences in every area of the game, you can start with that short list for example.

there is no other game with big spacefights, I'm in the right game, there are just some gamemodes missing, if is not what you people think of it... its what the players want it to be

I already told you my experience, I summed it up 100 times already

I'm not people. People are stupid.

I'm an individual with specific tastes and desires. EvE is a unique product that caters to people like myself. You have plenty of games that provide what you want. Go play those games when you want instant gratification. Leave mine the way it is.

You are an individual calling up a political talk radio program and demanding that they change their programming to play pop music, because that is "what people want". The answer is talk politics, or **** off and change your radio to a pop music station.

arenas will be coming, its what the masses want, you want to login, get into a 500 vs. 500 fight and then log off, 90% of the people whan that, so you need to give it to them... you "others", can still play the game like you want, no changes there, we won't disturb you

Yeah sure. Until people complain that pvp without any reward is boring and don't bother to show up anymore (has happend in the past, e.g. look at the number of participants WOW's arenas had when rating requirements locked the average player out of buying arena reawards - there's a reason they removed ratings from all non-cosmetic items).

So now you have to come up with a rewardsystem that does not screw over people uninterested in arena. Which is quite difficult, as creating a system where all rewards gained in the arena are limited to the arena environment isn't terribly motivating either. That was one of the reasons GW2's arena system had issues, you ended up grinding days and days for a shiny pvp armor and then were unable to wear it in PvE or even world PVP.

At the same time purely cosmetical rewards have been failed to provide enough motivation to keep people interested long-term (which is why many pvp systems in MMO's rely on special "pvp"-stats, resilience in WOW, expertise in SWTOR, PVP combat rating in DCU....). While I haven't played many FPS games in the last few years, it is my understanding that eve a large number of online shooters have decided to reward combat participation with e.g. access to better weapons (that can alternatively be bought in some kind of cash shop), further illustrating the point that "static instant pvp without character developement, Unreal Tournament Style" fails to provide long-term motivation. And that's not what you want either; you want everyone to be on equal footing, so motivating people by unlocking the Tengu in arenas as a reward for their 100th win isn't the way to go.

All these changes come with a clusterfuck of side problems; people wanting to queue with their friends, people pissed because the people that queued with their friends roflstomp them due to being more organized, people botting or idling semi-afk in arenas because they want rewards but are unwilling to go through the effort of earning them...

And you believe that CCP can handle all those problems (that frequently cause headaches for far larger studios that specialize in making those types of games) without taking resources from the regular developement team, when they can't even spare the manpower to fix various UI-atrocities currently ingame, such as the POS-handling or the PI-UI?

Tennis is the same game since ages, yet the people still play it, the reward is playing it because it is fun, thats what people want, not hours of grinding and other stuff, if the gamplay is good then the people will come for it, on and on

recourses won't be an issue, you generate so much traffic to the game, I'm sure 10 times more people would play eve vs. now, they would have enough money to make it all happen

We discuss online games and you throw Tennis into the discussion. Really. Because we all know that "Tennis online-The game" is the next blockbuster waiting to happen.

As for the additional resources solving the problem - sure. Worked great for SWTOR, worked great for Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer, will work great here. Maybe you should sum up your thoughts on the issue in an open letter to CCP's CEO, explaining how he's handling his game all wrong, I'm sure even guys in suits can use a laugh now and then.

You want a reward just for participating, you don't want to work for it. That isn't how it works, here or in the real world.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

This is a single-shard, persistent open world MMO with only ONE gamemode. EVE is everything but a casual game, you sound like you want a space arcade game.

Yeah, you know, all those games that are hemorrhaging subs, whilst EVE remains the only growing MMO in existence.

We totally want to be more like those games, and less like EVE.

Do you present the 90% PVE as a fact, or was it a counter-argument to "EVE is a single-shard, persistent open world MMO"?

And how old are you btw?

Every single MMO with arenas has a falling population. EVE has no arenas and a year on year growth in population.

All evidence points to people not wanting what you are demanding.
