I skipped over a lot of this thread but I get the gist that we need to do something big to get empire players involved in the process.

On an unrelated matter of concern specific to our 0.0 constituents, the CSM has had much success in our efforts to get CCP to remove the asteroid belts and agents from highsec. We're also trying to get CCP to increase the ISK/hour in 0.0 by actually giving 0.0 players some free ISK every hour but there may be some technical reasons why that can't happen.

We'll keep at it.

I don't care about those things, I want an update on the Anti-CONCORD Shielding module damnit.

You know that bottle of booze that Martini left before he collapsed, you really shouldn't have drunk from it. Nice troll though, at least somebody has a good sense of humor nowadays.

You forgot to mention CSM7's influence in successfully moving Incursions from HI to NULL next patch but then again besides the cheering on of the decimation of Incursion communities in thier minutes CSM7's silence has been deafening there.

Mission Accomplished, now the nullsec incursions are never run, pretty much. I think.

As a wormhole pilot I can tell you why nullsec controls the CSM. They actually organize, and this gives them voter blocks. High sec also doesn't vote, and if they were politically conscious it wouldn't matter because there would be so many candidates to split that vote between--and lowsec/wh would vote with nullsec if it came to it. Not only that, their understanding of the game tends to be a lot deeper than high sec players, so I don't really have a problem with them being on the CSM. They understand how high sec works better than you do.

... Well organization is a pretty powerful force.

Your proposed change doesn't really go far enough getting hisec involved in politics. How about convincing CCP to allow people to "buy tickets to the CONCORD ball" using AUR, granting them CONCORD immunity in hisec?

Just think about it: crowds gather to shoot the Jita statue once again, but suddenly.. EXPLOSIONS, as a small gang of all CSMs shows up in Tornados after paying off CONCORD, popping protesters left and right, and jettisoning cans reading "better vote next time, suckers!"

I don’t think most of you truly get it. The demographics of high sec is made up of people that just want to do their own thing and be left alone and not get involved in the forum trolling or what you call politics. Majority of these people work and have real jobs and real lives, they get enough of the asshats and pecker heads at work. They don’t want to get involved in the forums where the VAST majority on the un-silent minority are trolling basement dwellers.

Fortunately for this game, aside from the forum community this game is filled with good people willing to help and provide guidance for newer players, because if you subjected new players just to these forums you wouldn’t have the player base you now enjoy.

The only more moronic/tedious myth is James 315's UNABOMBEReske manifestos on how mining is the scurge of all Eve.-----------------------------------

Also it appears from the way this thread is moving the general lack of CSM represtation of pilots in HI SEC is lacking

Yup. As for the bolded part, I see him spouting off just about every time I pass through Halaima (sp) on my way back and forth from the systems I mine in. Useless drivel mostly.
