Japanese players are a classy community within EVE. That's a rare and precious thing. We should do everything we can to keep Japanese players in New Eden.

I totally agree on our Japanese friends' requests, and I feel obliged to express my support.

As a Chinese player, because of some "special" policies of my country, it is impossible for Tranquility client to add Chinese language. As the result, for some years if new Chinese players do not understand English, it is almost impossible for them to survive unless joining in a Chinese crop.

Such experience let me understand how hard it is to overcome the language obstacle, especially for such a massive MMO with a lot of technical terms involved. While it is not CCP's fault for not adding Chinese language, Japanese, as a language officially supported by CCP, should be treated equally with other languages, just like English.

An important reason why EVE Online is such an unique game is the diversity of its players. While English community is the majority, we should not ignore other players' voice.

A few, does not equal to none.

私がEVEonlineを始めたのはまだ日本語化される前でしたが、私のように英語が大して理解できないのに
始める人は限られるでしょう。
多くの日本人ゲーマーにとって海外タイトルの日本語化・日本語対応というのは、そのゲームに参加するか
どうかの判断をするにあたって大きな材料の1つです。
ローカライズを含む日本語対応が、今以上に拡充されるに越したことはありませんが、最低限現状の維持を
望みます。

私は日本語クライアント実装当初、サポートチームに助けてもらいました。
長くEVEを離れていましたが、今でも感謝の意と、多大な信頼を寄せています。

当時ルーキーだった私にとって、疑いようのない、必要な存在でした。

私は安心できる我が家、住処を選ぶとき、母国語が一切存在しない環境を選ぶことはしません。
外国語に囲まれながらもどこかに日本語は存在します。
英語を好んで使ってはいても、どこかにホームランドを感じていたいのです。
