Stop making me laugh, EVE is serious business!

I was considering, when Infinity first wrote that, of saying something to the effect of:

Could we please stick to the thread subject? It was interesting for a while, at least to me, because I'm coming back to EvE after years of being away, on a brand new character, and I'd really like to be informed on how to properly do things.

If someone is willing to make a guide, please let them do so, even if there's 200 previous guides already. It means there's competition and there's an incentive to make a good, up-to-date guide which would hopefully be better than the rest.

If someone is wrong and you know better, please collaborate, tell them why they're wrong and what's to be done better, rather than attacking a person and trying to cover their posts with faeces. That's monkey-style poo-flinging and you probably don't want to be in that category. Hopefully.

Why it's wrong? Because Infinity doctored the data.

What's to be done better? Well, one of two things. Either stop doctoring the data or stop posting threads like this.

Yes, apparently I made a perfect couple of fake screenshots, hacked the server to adjust my alts and my own contract history and hacked some guys account to post fake loot he got from stealing my anom.

Hence the reason for creating a guide where doctored data would float up.
Alternatively, I'd like to see un-doctored data.
Just so you know, I never believed you can make 1 billion an hour, or even 1 billion a day (LE: adding "consistently"), well, maybe unless someone's really, really good, resides in a particularly empty, safe and profitable system and is a bit lucky too. And plays for like 12 hours a day. But I believed there's plenty of untapped sites in nullsec, at least judging from the map reports showing the amounts of jumps in-out of a particular system.

Now, I surely am not up-to-date with all that's changed in EVE since I left, but I'm pretty sure that the whole thread can be roughly summarized as follows:

- nullsec income through plexing is generating a much higher yield/hour than hi-sec missioning;
- hi-sec missioning is much, much safer than nullsec plexing, where you can have long downtimes due to nasties roaming around.

So then again, there are other factors than just simply yield/hour, because that's variable in nullsec. Someone's experience might be wildly different from soneone else's experience.

What I'd be interested to know is whether a single account character would be able to spend some time in nullsec in a ship which is not a capital ship, as a neutral, and do belt ratting and lower complexes alone for a while (weeks, months), for the sole purpose of killing rats, not "work for PLEX".
