I hate politicians. It's not cause they lie, though they do. It's cause they dress funny and wear that awful cologne. The capped teeth smile doesn't do much for them either. If anyone can HONESTLY read all those CSM candidate posts in the Jita Town Crybaby Square and claim any of them can be taken seriously respond with: WHY HELL YEAH. If you read them and are suddenly gripped by waves of nausea, respond with: SO...What else is going on in EVE this month?

The reason people who just want a fun game to play in EVE aren't represented in CSM is because there aren't people like that in the game anymore, they've either left or are like me, sitting around laughing at the people left in the game asking for nerfs on everything and waiting for a new game to come out and the subscription to run out.

I remember before when people in game were really helpful to newbies, now they just go around scamming or ganking them if they ever go near their space or try to ask for help, new corporations get war decced several times over by griefing high sec corporations, especially if they are PvE or casual and people who ask legitimate questions on forums about the game get trolled.

Maybe you should learn not to generalize that much.
The world isn't black/white.

Also, people who talk about others in that way usually don't realize what's really said to them,
but instead only read what they want to read because they automagically assume that
everybody else also is generalizing in the same stupid way.

There are people who help noobs.
There are people who join corps of noobs to help them fight.
There are people who dec those who dec their corps.

The way you're wording it, there are only those who you believe exist
and there's nobody else. Almost as if you're the one good guy that's left.

Do you actually help noobs ?
Do you help them fight their wars ?
Do you teach them how to survive ?

Also ... "the reason".
Do you really believe there only is ONE reason and that YOU are the one who knows it ?
Have you ever considered that there may be MORE reasons for everything that's happening,
but you just don't see them because there's a filter in your head that prevents you from seeing them ?

The filter is called "i'm always right, because logic dictates me that i'm right, therefore i am right."

Actually you are speaking for the most ******** people that ever played a MMO.

Most of the whining was also coming from the CSM with ideas that on short term will only benefit your own alliances and on the the long term destroy EVE.

lol you think Mittens needs your vote anyway? Getting highsec players to all do the same thing is like herding cats. Goons will vote for him and he'll be CSM again, regardless of what you or anyone else in highsec, lowsec, or WH does. That's life. Thats the messed up CSM system. Get over it.

I can prove you wrong with ease, just contact any of the new players that have joined my corp in the last week or two. With the help we've given them they're ahead of the pack even while they're doing the tutorials. I've enjoyed helping these new players get their heads around EVE, a few tried it before and didn't have the social aspect or any help and left again to return again. This time they see a whole different game simply because they have a group of people to chat to and feel like they're making real progress.

So tell me again how older players don't help new players and I'll call you a liar to your face.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

Heh, I welcome you to try. 0.0 players make up the majority of EVE. While our 0.0 toons themselves only comprise 20% of the population, I'd be willing to bet Im not the only one with multiple highsec toons. Even if all the highsec players banded together and voted for someone else, they wouldn't have enough. We've got this in the bag. CCP wants to let the CSM work that way? Who are we to not take advantage of it. Their own fault, really, cause it would be dumb as hell for us to just say "Aw, its not fair. You guys can vote who you want."
