Just a simple request from a Gallente loyalist. Can you give us some kind of update on the hybrid rebalance and the possible gallente rebalance. You guys have given us almost no info in regards to your future plans or even any info on how well you think the changes are working. I see active dev involvement with alot of the other changes but we have had little info at all when it comes to the hybrid rebalance. Come on CCP we have been waiting on this for a long time all we are asking for is a little bit of info on what is going on and some dev involvement with the community. Throw us a bone damn you.

Didn't they buff them a few patches ago? Sorry I don't use hybrids so I'm ignorant of their problems. Could you enlighten me? I was of the impression that they pretty much out-damaged everything at close range, and aren't too shabby at long range in the right ship (naga). But like I said I don't use them so i'm probably dumb...

As a Gal fan I can safely say it worked. All of my blaster boats work well and even rail ships are effective now. The hull changes are also well done.

I cant think of anthing more they could do

Dammit I've been flying more blaster/railgun ships than autocannon ships lately. They are just so delicously nice now.

op must have missed the crucible expansion.

Anyway they still need a little more love, but atm they are much more playable than they used to be. The only problem is still ship mass related to mwd acceleration and some blaster range.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

Small Anti-Explosive Pump I
Small Hybrid Burst Aerator I
[empty rig slot]

116 dps (as much as your average rifter) from 8kms away. 1040ms without overheating. 163 dps with void, 3km range. 5 sec reload time. Yes. Hybrids are simply terrible.

After the patch we're giving the market some gentle supply restriction, like tying one wrist to the bedpost loosely with soft silk rope. Just enough to make things a bit more exciting for the market, not enough to make a safeword necessary.  -Fozzie

* Tech II ammo needs a better look at, especially Null-Scorch-Barrage.
* Active tanking vs passive tanking. And by extension, armor tanking vs shield tanking.
* Small and Medium Webifier drones.
* Give tech I hybrid ammo variations for each range, like projectile ammo. Maybe the same for lasers.
* Something to help blaster ships get into range. There are several good suggestions on how to do this; Webifier range bonus, MWD speed bonus, change the armor rig penalty, increase base speed or even a new type of module. We might do some of them, all of them or something completely different.

p.s. I have also updated the OP with the final list of changes.

You are terrible for not fitting a DCU to a Gallente ship. But yes, the Incursus is a pretty cool ship now.

From a PVE aspect with running missions I don't think anything was changed tbh.

Totally agree, 10% damage increase and 5% more tracking is "nothing changing". Making blasters viable at pretty decent range with Null is "nothing changing" ;-)

That's some pretty crazy stuff, I do like the idea of a module that can get you op and personal with a target, kinda like an overcharged/boosted afterburner or microwarpdrive (see what I did there).

Maybe I was not very clear in my original post. I know what was changed so far I am asking for an update on were we are going from here. If im not mistaken there is like 30 pages of stuff after the above post. Maybe im to impatient but I want to here what CCP is thinking.

No, I'd say you weren't very clear. Then again, I'd personally say that the Hybrid rebalance should be considered complete. Most of the rest of it is actually interesting in its own right and has little to do with Hybrids.
