Tippia,

I have never really liked you and disagree with you on a lot of issues over the years of forum lurking, but have still respected your (many) opinions. You are a known member of this community, regardless of our positions on various matters, and I will be sad to see you go. Hopefully you find a good home.

I resubbed to say goodbye to you, Tippia.

I hope to get enough time this weekend to come blow you up or perhaps try to stop others from doing so.

I've sometimes debated with you and more often agreed with you both as this forum troll and an earlier one by the name of Tron Flux going back at least 5 years. Maybe 6.

Cheers and good wishes to you, in real life and in other games. You've been a great asset to the community here, and I'm sure other communities will benefit from your participation as well.

No need to include me in the lottery for stuffs. If I get anything from you, it will be in game. :)

I honestly feel like I just read fifty shades of dumb. --CCP Falcon

Lately when I browse the forums, the names have become less and less familiar which tells me this game has lost way too many Veteran players from the days of old.

This. So many faces gone. And basically none of the veteran players I met as a newbie and who helped me getting into the game (gankers included Blink ) is still online. Even if they should get back online, I won't know it, unless per chance I'm still on one of their watchlists.

Remove standings and insurance.

End of day 1, lots of stuff exploded, some stuff didn't.

The losses are available for all to see, and while there were some good loot, the eponymous fairy seems to have a deep aversion to Battlecruiser BPOs and fancy battleships. The Bowhead kill would require an entire symphony orchestra worth of sad trombones to really convey what happened. Lol

(Btw, if anyone knows of a good rule of thumb to value TE/ME research, please chime in — most of the blueprints were maxed out, so whatever they show up as will not be the whole truth).

Out of 26 flights (probably… if I counted them right, which is doubtful), 9 arrived at their destination, be it through stealth, speed, feinting, or just being a sneaky bastard: an Anathema, a Raptor, an Ishkur, a Talos, a Prowler, a Buzzard, a Taranis, a Proteus, and my oldest ship, the first Cormorant I bought back around Christmas 2007.

I recommend you guys give it a try tomorrow. It was a fun and a different way to spend some time in Eve (which, I must admit, has changed so much lately I can completely understand why an old player would want to quit. I took a few months break myself a while back and still feel a bit uncertain whether I want to play or not).

Lots of expensive stuff gone, and some more gone to new owners. Tippia asked me to provide an assessment of the value of the loot I gathered up and I must say its incredibly difficult to tell. The estimated value of the items besides the blueprints of 3,2 bil isk and the bounties I gathered were around 1,6 bil isk.

All in all roughly 4,8 bil isk plus the blueprints which could be anything between 500 mil and 2 bil.

Also: I knew you were transporting all the PLEX inside those covert ops ships. Damn you P

Not all of them, but yes, the harder the ship is to catch, the fancier the loot…

…well, aside from that damned Bowhead. And I've got one more of those.
Also, you got a 1bn ISK shirt, so shush! P

Shocked

That's a very quick single player asset reduction via PvP game mechanics that I've seen in a long time. Not to mention that's one hell of a 'Good-Bye' contract.

Just out of pure Eve nature and ill will, I'd definitely love to jump on the next transport session. However I don't have the ability to WarDec and Suicide Ganking isn't an option. Concord would more than likely cost me way more ISK than I'd actually collect, that is if I was actually able to collect anything at all. Plus I'd never be able to get my +5.8 security status back again.

Anyway, gratz to the 2 players, lmmortalist and Slave Eode for jumping on the Triple T (Tippia's Transport Targets) and gratz to Sonya Corvinus for winning the Leftover Lottery.

Who are you again?

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

If you ever decide to come back to the game please message me and I will give back anything you want, whether it be ships that I re-buy or unique items I will never get rid of. To say I was surprised at this contract when logging in would be an understatement, to say the least.

I will mothball that Cormorant for the rest of my EVE career, and it's yours should you return.

If it has Large Rigs on it, then it's definitely a Collectors Item.

I think the Large Hybrid Locus Coordinators in the contract come from that one, so yes. It's that old, and even then, it had been through a couple of (mainly L2 mission-fit) iterations before it ended up like that.

Today's winner might be looking at an even bigger pile of loot than yesterday's.
