tbh im a bit disappointed that the other racial CQs are coming next.

4 rooms with 0 usefulness is still 0 usefulness. I'd rather have seen a single corp meeting room implemented first, or a bar, etc so at least we could do something in incarna.

Carbon allows them to easily make CQ-style UI elements and traditional UI elements use a lot of uniform coding, but I believe Carbon drives the entire UI now, including your traditional menus and boxes you're used to.

And Carbon is far more efficient code-wise than any previous iteration, which would mean the same interface, but with the new Carbon code, should theoretically be more efficient and less taxing.

Yep CarbonUI is in fact already much more responsive and faster than the old UI. However bugs and some removed functionality in it have pretty much stolen the attention from the good things. It will be ready someday and hopefully all the old code is replaced with brand new improved ui and tools.

About the hangar, I thought you guys said it wouldn't be the same "ship spinning"? So I thought you were making something different than the "old hangar"? Or was that scrapped?

Yes, hope that too. Don't want to switch through the ESC menu - graphic settings.
Would be much better if you firstly are in ship spinning mode after docking and then have the option to leave the pod which leads to walking in station (WiS).

A 'ship spinning OR WiS' option would be better than the situation right now because CQ don't have any usefulness atm and the door view doesn't provide the same functionality as the old hangar view. Provided the new ship spinning view will have the double click functionality etc..
But when the time comes and we can see/interact with other chars etc. there will be many more people who want to use WiS. At the same time we want good performance when the Alt is just docked (WiS reduces performance by a good junk) when multiboxing.

If this makes it back in, I may think of activating my other subs, but I will wait until I see it, talk has been too cheap with CCP.

As much as I like what has been said in this threads dev posts, even if they stand to their word, gratefulness is a bit misplaced.

This is really what the community wants CCP. Hell, even I admit it would be nice to have common areas and poker halls, but that is nothing but time between flying internet spaceships. thats just off the top of my head. And thats the broken ships that destroy their gameplay, thats not counting the "overpowered" broken ships (avoided them to skip the debates over how things aren't overpowered by their fans who don't want to see the ship nerfed.)

So CCP, will even 1/3rd of those ship issues even be considered for winter balancing?

Thanks a lot T0rfifrans for the answer, like other says with that hability (something that i demand since the pre-version of Incarna on singularity as a reminder for you CCP Blink) is the only thing that can start Incarna for the regular Eve Player.

we are capsuleers, we have to feel that going offline isn't something regular and without consequences Smile
