Brave was great in Catch and too bad you had to move. You guys really created a lot of content, now it seems the only place to play is Providence. NC. moved next to us because of content, is there really no other place in EVE to have fun? I mean their 200+ supers could be used for better purposes and fights since Provi has no supers.

In any case, it seems to me that if all major alliances come to Provi to play when they have 90% of null to do it yet still out of their own volition they come here for good fights, then wtf is wrong with null... as Provi we have a lot of fun so thank you guys.

You guys are missing the point of this thread, maybe read the title again...

It's meant to encourage people to give 0.0 a try and as far as I know Providence is the most welcoming 0.0 region in the game... it's good to spread awareness. We don't shoot people that come to visit for the first time like 90% of other regions. At the same time it might give some fresh air to bitter vets, try Provi for a change, it is in fashion now and you might love it!

Most new pilots assume by default that if they go to 0.0 they will get killed, that is not the case in Providence and this is why this thread is still on the first page after a week and I got lot's of emails in game from new people and bitter vets looking for a change.

Did not expect such a reaction so I guess it's good to have this here. It might actually make people enjoy EVE more or discover a new side to this game, if it was not for 0.0 I would have quit like 5 years ago... there might be others like me out there that need a bit of push and then BAM the game is awesome again.

Well, I think it's more likely to get killed when entering Provi than other Null regions boardering to empire space. Blink if you want to try null in a bit more relaxed way, you should check out Syndicate and fleet up with the pilots of the CAS Combat Guild (NPSI rule).

Well, not in the way they expect. Provi just makes sure no one gets podded so they can cannibalize themselves.

Provi slaughtered NC. on the 23rd, sub-cap vs sub-cap (they had carriers) and that has changed the way they see us.


I actually recommend Wicked Creek for any moderately big alliance that wants to try their hand at Null Sec. They can have NBSI rules (Not Blue Shoot It ) and might even carve out some space.

There are plenty of potential allies and enemies. The huge coalitions are being quite good about giving them some breathing room to grow.

Yes, we have a database that we use for our purposes of enforcing NRDS. We do allow neutrals to come to Providence to experience firsthand what we enjoy. Anything and everything you can do from mining to ratting to joining fleets is all here, all you hafta do is ask.

I can confirm this, once I got in I could never leave... and those that did always lurk back or return in bitter defeat and recognize that NRDS is better.

Some learn only the hard way. Not that it is bad. We all end up in the same place eventually.

12 years in EVE, and NEVER have I had more fun. Provi is the reason why I log on. NRDS is the reason why I play. I have a reason to be at my pc. I don't need to go looking for content... Defending my home is all I need.

Provi 0.0 space IS what EVE should be...

LOL How is a 16,000 member coalition living and breathing NRDS, controling an entire region, open to neutral pilots to live and play, a failure??

Operation Deliverance started in 2003 and is active even to this day... "CVA has been one of the longest standing alliances in EVE history and has contributed greatly - both in terms of content and in creating one of the best 'newbie friendly' and 'small-gang friendly' regions of 0.0."
