Oh the tears, the sweet, sweet tears.

Go on, get off the boat with your 17 alts.
We don't care.

There's plenty of us willing to adapt to the new EVE.

Loyal players are precious, but they're also a limited, constantly diminishing pool.

It ain't 9 year vets CCP needs.

Alt posting because yes.

You know what was probably painful? The days when alliances had to put together freighter convoys through low into null and back again, because there were no easy-move options.

CCP should bring that back for a few weeks first, so that 5ly and jump fatigue seems like a blessing.

Yup..

I remember back with the ASCN, our freighter convoys took all night to get from sov space to empire, then another night to get back.

Was actually kind of cool though. Enemies were able to plan strikes on freighter convoys and stage ambushes that would seriously hurt an alliance.

Yes, but it's a thing we're still not happy with the state of. We're going to discuss this specific issue more tomorrow, with the aim of coming up with a reasonable solution that deals with the newbie use case without opening the door to more general problems. Stay tuned for more info.

Why not just also allow remote installation in a corp/alliance designated "capital"?

Currently i have to jump 80 light years to low and back to nullsec.

So after the Patch i need 9 Cyno Chars for all systems?

Seriously that kills eve for me, if this comes to Tranquilty i will quit eve.

This is stupid ****, dont **** up the EVE Community CCP.

PS. make Logistik easier for big corps with jump freighters i have to spent one day for logistics every week right now to get my members prepared for nullsec.

These changes would be okay for me, if these changes just happening to capitals.

Anybody who lives far from NPC space is basically untouchable now. We can hole up in Branch and nobody could touch us.

And for those who are uninformed, the reason that the null sec groups are 'crying' is because they understand null sec. I know it's hard to understand when you live in high sec, but using jump bridges and capitals are daily living up here. Hell, I traveled 30 LY just today via jump bridge, and that was just to pick up a single module. Without this, we're back to the days of daily freighter runs, which are boring as hell.

And if you want a fight? Good ******* luck. And eve without fights is a dead eve.

This is the best change ever, **** yeah CCP.

So you want to move that dread, but worried about being tackled by a frigate, have friends escort you, not difficult eve is risky, you can avoid that risk by simply waiting out your timer, point is you have a choice.

Seriously all the people whining are gonna be part of some large coalition that depends on huge numbers to defend the assets and space that they own, now they will actually have to make an effort to defend it against smaller groups.

This just brought back small scale pvp, that is only a good thing, not to mention a reshuffle of what has become a stagnent 0.0.

Now if you really WANT that space you have to dedicate time and effort to take and defend it, rather than bridge in 2000 people from 14 different alliances to create one big clusterfuck that ultimately nobody can fight, making it a boring as **** engagement for all parties involved.

People are bitching now but long term CCP just saved eve and created more pvp.

100% behind this change and fair play as I imagine this would of been controversal as **** behind the scenes and fair play for having the balls to see there is a problem currently and fixing it.

Bravo.

I'm not sure if the 90% reduce of tiredness will be enough for JF pilot. When there is alot of stuff to be hauled away JF pilots jump back and forth 3 - 4 times a cyno.

I think the jump tiredness shouldn' t count if you jump back and forth, logistics are hard and slow enough already, don't slow down the game too much :(

Be strong, Greyscale. Bathe in the tears. These changes are mostly good. Deathcloning is a little harsh (might just stick a long cool down and add corp HQ and rookie system to allowed list), but the rest is good.

Eve has the same problem that all social games/networks have. Players beget players, and when the players go - especially the "hub" players - so does everyone else. This definitely has the capability to be a bigger shake up than Incarna ever thought of being. At least Incarna was just an annoying waste of dev resources and addition of a feature nobody used. This literally redefines the entire low/null sec game.

Ed: As I said before, I wish them the best of luck with this change. I personally think they're going to need it.

These are some of the best changes I've seen in my 11 years playing this game. Good thing I include humor factor in to those calculations or else I might be mad.

Any change that makes the major nullsec powers hugely mad probably means you're on the right track. Have they not been begging for change? Did they not just publish a big fancy open letter with a veritable blue donut of signatories?

Well, here's your change. If you quit, can I have your stuff?

I had to swim through all the loser nullbear tears just to get here and say AWESOME.

Just last night friend and I were discussing some of the Null Deal proposed changes, and I literally said limiting the speed/distance of power projection would coincide nicely with a lot of the good ideas in there.

Clearly you guys are taking steps in the right direction!
