Did anyone else throw up a little in their mouth when they went to do PI?

There seems to be a whole lot of confusion about how the taxes are calculated. The taxable values (the base value that the tax is calculated off of) is a flat amount.

You can find all the info here:

OP, have you noticed you are the only person in this thread complaining in this thread? The fact that we are now 4 pages into this thread and there have no other PI whiner coming (yet) tells me that those other whiners either adapted to the new taxes and passed on the tax to the consumer or... well... actually that might be the only reason why they haven't posted here along with you.

As for your argument about not selling the PI directly and instead using it for your POS as fuel, you can still pass on the tax to the consumer when you sell whatever it is you make from the POS (researched and copied blueprints, T2 components, Ship production, etc.).

Like everyone else here and their grandmother's grandma has been saying, the market will adjust. HTFU.

In other words, ****** game mechanic is intentional.

We're a pirate corp and even we saw the advantages of blowing up the interbus offices in our systems and putting our own in. Taxing the lowsec PI ninjas makes good sense and if it leads to more fights then I'm good with that too, more pewpew is always fun.

Also OP needs to learn basic economics.
