all drone boats (maybe poses also) have a small chance of going skynet on you. The more there are on field the higher the chance. (applies to supercaps also)

Most development changes should have clear goals and results they should achieve. For instance new interceptor change should increase the use of the ship by 30% (it could be more specific, like jumps in nullsec). If goal is not achieved the responsible devs should get shot by one paintball for each percentage point off. (If you implement this idea let me know, so I can open a paintball store in Iceland)

Dust clouds in space interfere with locking range/speed (or something), for a more tactically varied spacescape.


Some missiles release shockwaves that causes a bleed-through into hull, allowing them to shake a ship to bits from within even if they can't break through the active tank.

introduce an area of effect-specialized capitalship ... with no targeted weapons or drones:

on the offensive side: boni to smartbomb range and damage

on the defensive: a new module (highslot, limited to this shipclass)
which is reducing the damage from all area of effect weapons within a certain radius by (say) 50%;
- range should be same as the bonused smartbombs
- activation of multiple modules should be possible (stacking penalized ofc.) to allow for more offensive or defensive fits
- could be damage type specific for balance (with ships getting racial specific boni)
- could maybe affect only fleetmembers and their drones (so you can bomb away within your own fleet) Twisted)

effects should be balanced, so that one defense-specialized fit could negate two or more of its more offensive variants
(or a 7-bomber wing)

balance sentry-drone performance to the same dps/projection as other weapons systems that are able to dps and move at the same time.

make mining more interactive - you don't want the chilled out miners doing it anyway, right?

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

couple here:

scatter 'roids (roids that do what exploration cans currently do)

wrecks do the same as scatter cans

as a reward for successful hack/analysis on the first go - containers in data/relic sites give a loot spew; oh wait - I think you might have already done that one

Add a blueprint, or game mechanic, to allow combining damaged crystals. Having 300 used crystals that wont repackage is lame.
