Pissing contest is one, simply spewing off topic nonsense is another and blatent insults with no constructive input is yet another. Instead of people simply ignoring threads they don't like and/or have no interest in contributing to, they much rather do what they can to try and get it locked. The worst part is that mods are too eager to oblige. Rather than deal with the replies, they simply lock the whole thread.

A much better way would be to have a warning meter (you see your own but you don't see other people's) and when you break the rules of the forums, your specific posts/replies that are within violation are handled and you get a warning. When the meter fills up, you take a forced vacation.

So, yeah. I think from a pure isk/hr perspective, high sec is still better, at least for me. Goonswarm got a couple of juicy kills out of me, so at least I made someone's day.

Wait, I think I remember seeing you mentioned. Ishtar, running scanned-down complexes?

Why is that? I'd imagine that a balance would be best for everyone involved. It'd be an incentive to try other areas of space without knowing that you are hurting your income. Which in turn, leads to less boredom which leads to more subscription retention.

Viable parts of space for everyone is the path to higher sub numbers.

Is there someone preventing you from taking advantage of this supposed imbalance? I have never know goonies to pass up ANY chance at exploiting any part of the game. There is a reason you are in low sec crying for nerf to hi-sec missions and it’s not because low sec has lower income.

Sorry dude

That's an oxymoron in EvE terms right there

(PS Im making an assumption on what you mean based on context. Grammatically you are stating you should be able to go outside HiSec and not realise you are at risk)

OMG an actual argument from E-2c instead of useless trolling? WTF, why are my feet cold, how could snow be on the forecast for hell, must be gloabal warming or something?

More seriously, people (not just goons) ARE exploiting the imbalance. Many null sec players have high sec incursion, mission, mining, scamming and exploration alts. Half of my 4 accounts characters are in high sec for logistics and PVE isk making purposes. High Sec isk is reliable and it's really hard for anyone to interrupt you (except for high sec exploration).

The various reasons why have been explained to (and ignored by) the OP. Relying on a random number generator and time consuming PVE activities for isk is dumb when you can take the exact same 2 alts Infinity is using and rake in high sec isk.

1 alt runs infinitely available missions (and if you're pro , basking in the glory of sisters probes or nomad implants/soon to be SOE cruisers or other goodies you can get in high sec like the infinite respawing cosmos plexes that drop items the cosmos runners need) while X-ing up in incursion channels with the other alt. And then stop doing everything else when you get into that incursion fleet because thats where the isk is. Incursion is is never ever chance based like sov null isk is.

Which is odd because when you posted that I went on EveKill to see the loss and found no Ishtar losses?

I do it myself. I take FULL advantage of the fact that, unless I am drunk and doing something stupid as a result, I cannot die in highsec.

I do PI on several alts (factory planet in highsec ftw), I mission in highsec. Highsec is where I make most of my money, and the best part is, it's almost completely risk free!

That's the damned problem. Oh, I'm not alone, either. Quite a few people in the thread have expressed that they use incursions to plump up the old wallet, when they live in null on their mains. For a lot of line members, this is the rule, not the exception.

12 Bil in a month is 6 full nomad sets from Thukker/Trust Partners (not counting LP store costs of course). Not hard to do at all over 30 days with a single machariel.

12 bil is (including LP store cost) someting like 28,000 Sisters core Scanner Probes. I sell 1000+ sisters probes per night (made easier with those cool new Sisters lvl 4 agents....) 12 bil doesn't even take 30 days...... My sisters mission alt uses a Navy Raven and wait till i get my hands of those new missile launchers coming in Rubicon.

Even factoring in the craziness of someone popping the moms early, 12 bil from incursion running is 2.6 to 3.4 hours of incursions per day (. Not hard to do and 2 days ago a TVP FC was talking about his downtime to downtime marathon over the weekend. Why do you think incursion runners are able to afford 5 bil iskn Vindis and machs after a short period of time?

All of the above with glancing at local, without scanning down random wormholes, with next to zero risk of losing a ship (i mission in battleships, I get scrammed, i MJD, get out of jail free card).

That's not even mentioning the crazyness of going just a few jumps from jita and scanning down cosmos mission runners doing the mission that drops the Michi Implant and stealing from that can (made extra special now because of crime watch lol). Doesn't always work but its better than hoping that MAZE drops something with the words Pith in it.

And there are more, way more. All the above can be done with ONE CHARACTER. Not that you really care lol.
