In order of increasing difficulty


  • BMs visible as brackets in space and on overview.
  • Temporary "fleet" bookmarks shared with all members of fleet, but deleted on disband of fleet.
  • Buff Nos - they haven't really been used since the nerf. Perhaps simply change the formula so they only work if you have less than double the opponents cap %, rather than less than the same %.
  • Allow us to cancel the emergency warps (both out and back in) using ctrl-space.
  • ...
  • A transfer mechanic for POSs and Stations, similar to that recently announced for POCustoms Offices
  • Programme in some alignment mechanics - make stargates align roughly in the direction of the system to which they lead and make capital ship jumps do likewise! This will be visually spectacular, RP approved AND will add an extra dimension to capital ship combat (waiting for alignment).
  • ...
  • Removal of t1 'tier' concept. Level the abilities and build costs etc of the different current tiers. This would make many currently useless frigs and cruisers usable again.
  • Give us a SUPER EXPENSIVE consumable. Maybe an "incredi-booster" which costs 5 billion isk+ but gives huge bonuses allowing one pilot to fight many and win. Use this is a massive isk sink.

  • The possibility of permenantly (until character transferred on sale through usual mechanics) linking multiple characters in a "family" or "kith" unit, which would show up in "show info" to all, but would provide the advantages of shared wallet, shared hangars etc. Would integrate alts a little better and save SO MUCH HASSLE. It would also make espionage, scamming etc require more pre-planning (as obviously family ties would mean the consequences can lead back to your other characters).

Minor gripes?

- Contracts start blinking at the weirdest times; not when I log in.

- Industry window remembers "out hangar" globally. I.e. if I run a copying job and set "out hangar" to our Outgoing hangar, and then run a Manufacturing job, the "out hangar" is also set to Outgoing. The last Manufacturing job out hangar was Production, though. Jobs with no out hangar set that to Division 1, even. It would be great if each industry job would remember the hangar it used.

- Industry window "range" should remember the last setting. E.g. when I do a "copying" job for a POS, it should remember that it was set to "current region", and not default to "current BP location" for everything. (Again, remember this per-job-type; maybe even job type + location)

- The address book bugs a lot again. It regularly does not remember when someone logged off. The only way to update it is to remove that someone from the address book and add them again. This is quite annoying already, but what's worse is that when the FC does that, the fleet advert is removed because you just changed your standings. $/(!)

- Remote reprocessing would be really nice :o)

- It's very annoying to use the "remote adjust market order" feature. To adjust market orders, you want to know who your closest competitors are. But you can only sort the market window by jumps to your current location. If I want to adjust market orders 8j from where I am, it would be really nice to be able to sort the window by jumps to that location, not to my current one.

- The "my orders" list should note which corp wallet the order was set to. It's currently impossible to tell if you ****** up until an order shows up in the transaction log (or, well, you have an API tool, but in-game stuff is nice)

- It used to be the case that you could "right-click + copy" the corp of a pilot from the "showinfo" window. This would copy the corp name + ticker. For some reason, this feature was removed. It would be really nice if there was an easy way to get the corp name + ticker (and alliance name + ticker) from a showinfo window.

- Some star gates have weird bounding spheres. In freighters, it's quite possible that "warp to zero" will put you into the gate, bouncing you off the gate if you don't click "jump" really quickly (and re-aligning to warp out, or worse, trying to crawl back in a freighter, is REALLY annoying). On the other hand, "warp to zero" with a pod can put you out of jump range by a few meters, having to crawl those in a bit.

- The same applies to stations, except I have so far not been warped in "too close". Definitely "too far", though, arriving at 2-3km from the station and having to fly the last bit. This is especially annoying during wars or in low-sec when you actually might lose your ship because of this. WTZ bookmarks help, but still.

- The "setification" of inventories increased speed, but reduced usability. It used to be possible to drop a bunch of items into a can, and they would show up at the end of the list there. When you hit "stack all items", it would remove those of the new items at the bottom that already existed in the can, leaving only "really new" items there. This was extremely handy for loot sorting. Setification removed this feature, first by making it random which stack an item was added to, and then by automatically sorting by type after a "stack all". Would be nice to get something like the original feature back. (If you want to be really generous, add a "market average in the current region" column to can inventory lists ;-))

- Browsing through local in a busy system can be really, really laggy due to the need to load all the portraits. I don't care about the pictures (sorry), I care about the standings - I want to see if there's a war target there, say. Would be nice if we could disable automatic loading of images, and for example only load them on doubleclick, as it used to be.

- Er, where was I. Ah, right, the little things.

- Insurance. During one of the insurance discussions, there was the idea of simply defaulting all ship insurance to "platinum" (i.e. 70% base price payout), without the need to insure them. Insuring ships is a real annoyance. I'd love this change.

- Clones. I understand that "keep your clone updated" is one of those things every EVE player loves, but the need to update your clone after a pod loss is annoying. Primarily, because the main effect is that it punishes you for having lots of SP. This means that high-SP characters are more cautious, and it means that quite a few guides actually recommend stopping to train a character at a given SP level, and start training a new one (strict separation of combat and industry, say), just to keep clone costs low. Just get rid of the need to buy a new clone after getting podded. There is nothing useful in that feature. (You can keep having to buy the bigger clone once when you hit certain SP levels...)

Hm. I think that's it for a quick brainstorming :-)

Fitting a standard cloak should stop the passive recharge of shields and stop the recharge of the capacitor.

This has little to no effect on sub-capitals (make Black Ops immune to this?), but will be a nice nerf to cloaking capitals who like to vanish in a puff of smoke because they made it to a safe spot and cloaked. Then just waited till they had enough capacitor to jump out. The exit strategy should carry more risks.

Overview tabs. Instead of naming them manually I'd like them to be named according to the saved overview setting loaded into them. Plus it would be nice to have more the five of them.

One thing i would like to see is the message boards at Star Gates improved on.

1. Animation may be asking for to much, but maybe cycle through characters randomly with bounties instead of flashing the same one over and over. 'Tis my dream to see my smiling face on a billboard.

2. The news ticker could talk about SOV changes in Null.

3. UPDATE THE QUAFE GIRL!! She's still on the old character modals. Immersion breaker if you ask me.

A sell box.

Players set the percentage range of which something is is to be sold. Toss in whatever modules. Then press the magic button on the box. Anything outside the player set percentage is not sold, while everything else is sold to the highest buy order on the market.

All ship assembly arrays on POS's should be open and show what is being built. This includes super capital arrays. There should also be a timer that says when it will be complete that anyone can see.

If you want to get creative, then use several different models of the ship being built in different phases and players could guestimate if you will. Or just have the timer public on top of the ship being built skins.

Also move the super capital assembly array outside the POS shield.

As capital pilot i see that tick allow fleet members usage everytime to jump to system so rest of cap pilots can use fiting services is a bit anoying, can you please fix that so we do it only lets say one time per loging sesion?

I'd love it if there was some sort of cone or so that appeared in the map interface when I was using the scanner. Not a must, but it would make running scans a lot easier and intuitive than trying to work out the camera.

Please fix the Vertical Scroll bar. Currently when clicked in "empty" space above or below scroll box should scroll only ONE PAGE up or down, not move the scroll box to the clicked location.

This behavior is default in windows applications and causes large amounts of frustration while trying to review the contents of Local while docked in heavily occupied systems. If I wanted to move the scroll box to a position, I would click and drag.

Please get the gallente pleasure hubs back. Put the current gallente station environment back in the jove stations where they belong.

Bring back amarr chanting.

Change the environments for minmatar and caldari to reflect more their races. Since the caldari are business moguls, maybe stock tickers and or large stock exchange screens make it commerce oriented.

minmatar, - make id a dedication to red green and billy mays and macgyver.


Finally.

Change the stations for jita 4-4 and amarr.

4-4 does not look like a station for the center of commerce of eve online, nor does the amarr oris station look like a dedication to the royal family.

Put level 4 agents back in oursulaert 3 station.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

Forget to write stacking penalty. For modules I not sure...
And what I meant was that for ex T1 rigs givs you x1 and T2 should logical be x2.
