Please don't forget your commitment to Faction Warfare!!

I've condensed the years of feedback into a top list of trending "little fixes" related to Faction Warfare.

Please take the time to review these, they're not that bad I promise!!

I know FW is an intimidating topic to handle - but there's some very basic stuff that would make a night and day difference for Faction Warfare pilots and all those who want to get involved but don't because of the broken mechanics.

The drone window is my biggest pain atm:

- A ship with 5 drones, launching them all, closes the window, resets the menus
- The menus don't remember their position
- No health bars for docked, unpacked drones
- The window can't be closed (add an overview button, like for fleet)
- The window can get out of sync (I've had a drone exist as both docked and undocked for several seconds)
- No warning that they're taking damage (sometimes losing HP from shields is way too late)

Repair Drones able to rep the pilot deploying them.

Ability to link Bookmarks in Chat channel (to non corpies)

Only Amarr ships have 1 mid slot, that's unfair, please shuffle slots.

Or how about a side-scrolling window....I have to expand the Corp frame from ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER (Game's @ 1680x1050).

There appears to be two "<" ">" but they do nothing.

Also could we please clearing define the permissions with a "Put" and "Take" column.

Fact...scrap the entire Corp Management system as it is now and redo it from the ground up :\

Hi,

First of all, thank you for the opportunity. I know you guys might implement 5% of the ideas, but it's important to read them all at least. :)

I dont know whether or not someone has already brought this in this thread, but it would be AWESOME to be able to hover the mouse over the weapon + ammo and see the actual optimal range and falloff information (both on the Fitting Window when docked and on the HUD when undocked).

I printed the range for missiles launchers and hybrid turrets, I printed the ammo bonuses (missiles and charges), but still super annoying all the math, imo.

(Caldari balance for solo pvp wouldn't be a bad idea at all as well - just mentioning, I know this is a heated discussion out there) :-)

Off the top of my head and without coffee yet this morning, fix drone AI.

Ships that are using EWAR and tackle mods should be "primary"; scrams and dists first, then webs, then damps, etc.

Heavy drones should also not be chasing frigs, likewise with light drones chasing BS...unless there are no other "active" targets.

As others have said, "focus fire" is borked.

You Fixed the unprobeable ship problem, okey.
But its generated another problem.
Every good mission hub players got perfect scanner character with virute set.

The missioner cannot see the prober how exatly result got, who scan him.
The directional scanner data with probes, its irrevelant. You can see probes on you closer thank 0.5 AU with 60% scan results.
Thats a problem.

Give any information about how exatly are you probed out.
Give an extra scanner function to probes or whatever.


With 60% probiing result the probes shouldnt be on you at 0.5au with the directional scanner.

More content in null sec for capital pilots. Currently 10/10 escalations do not allow capital ships to do them and the sanctums / hordes do not pose much of a challenge. Prehaps make a site that is higher than horde sites for capital pilots. I would also like to see more NPC capital ships to kill, this would be nice so I can kill them with my carrier.

1. The ability to un-stack multiple items at a time - You have 100 of items A, B, and C. You select all 3 items, shift + drag them to split all of them and get to choose how much you take off.

2. Stop refreshing entire windows when you do something - Drag an item from your cargo to your hangar and you have to wait for both windows to Re-Draw. It should be faster than it is currently. I know of no other MMO where you have to sit and wait as much as we do here!

3. While on the subject of redrawing, why is the UI unresponsive when docking/undocking/jumping/ship blowing up? It takes it 1-2 seconds to start responding again after doing any of those actions!

4. Let us switch characters on an account without re-logging multiple times! You're creating this awesome new Launcher, why not let us log-in using the Launcher and have that be our gaming session, so we can switch characters without relogging?

5. "A character on this account is already training...". That dialogue should end with, "Would you like to stop training on the other character and begin training on this character now?" [Yes]/[Cancel]

Mmm, I love the smell of pod goo in the morning.

  2. Please allow this... when u live out of a pos and have lots of used modules the lag is insane when u open the corp hangar....

    being able to repackage and then stack the items would really help eliminate the lag.


  3. to be once again able to remotely trash items. the function IS there and USED to work but now it DOES NOT work please fix this


  4. Change the Automatic new rookie ship when i dock in a pod to a new station panel button to request a free rookie ship if u need one, as i'm tired of having to trash unwanted rookie ships

Just an immersion thingy, but could the art team code some maneuvring thruster effects for the ships somewhen? You know, the little exhaust flames on sides and nose when the ship is turning. (The Enherji has them)

Would feel less like a submarine in a thick fluid compared to now. Does not need to remodel the ships, just the effects on some places on the ships would be nice imo.

I like the fact we can move the capacitor and controls along the screen, it would be nice if we could choose where to reposition the sector read out, as I find it gets mixed up with targets when I'm in a logi/marauder

Didn't read all the way through to see if this was mentioned or not, but:

T3's should have a special ability to swap rigs without destroying them. The point of a modular ship is to be refitted instantly to do something else, this isn't possible currently without standardizing your rigs/keeping spare rigs on hand.

Other things besides weapons oughta be stackable, for example multiple neuts/webs/sensordamps/hardeners/etc.

Retribution really needs a second mid.

I don't think these have been mentioned:

1. Aura gives an audio drone damage notification. "Your drones are under attack." or something simple like that. Toggleable, obv.
2. Civilian hi-sec space traffic. Even if it's token, non-interactive and just there for eye candy at first. It doesn't have to be like the spaceship lanes in Coruscant (although that would be cool).

Sentries in lowsec should follow the tracking formula. It's kind of stupid that you can't have frigate combat on a gate.

I agree with you, Stoffer. You've done a passable job already with most of the most pressing little things.

Now fix the BIG thing.

The EVE economy is broken because ISK faucets swamp ISK sinks. Fix it. (You can start by selling all vanity items (and your infamous 'convenience' upgrades) on NPC orders for ISK.)

If CCP is meddling in the PLEX market (by printing ISK (another massive ISK faucet, great!) and buying up PLEX,) disclose it, reverse it, and then stop it.

Once you've done that then I agree strongly with these:

Fix neutral RR aggression (it shouldn't be risk-free)
Bookmarks on overview.
Fix killmails (they should display the correct damage amount/source every time.)
