So what happens if we feel the CSM does not represent us?

'Rep War' refers to dealing with people like you on the forums, not a war against CCP.

Is this some subtle ploy to manouver him into a statement you want to petition him for by any wierd chance?

Serious answer though, I think unsubbing is a bit like setting yourself on fire to make a political point. While there is still an Eve to save I'd rather remain subbed and "alive" to protest against the current management than surrender my right to an opinion by walking away.

That said, there are plenty of players with spare accounts they can unsub to make a point while continuing their best known posting identity.

He hasn't called for unsubs. You should probably actually bother to read the stuff he posts rather than turning him into some sort of evil anti CCP cartoon character in your mind and then complaining about what your imaginary Mittani is saying.

What Mittani and the rest of the CSM are saying is that the EVE Online staff are doing a good job, have a lot of good ideas, but the CCP higher ups are living in a fantasy land -- CCPonia -- and it's about to kill EVE.

CCPonia is a magical place full of gumdrop rain and chocolate trees, where DUST and WoD are guaranteed successes despite both being part of absolutely flooded niche markets, and all they have to do is wait while the EVE player base alpha tests random components of these games, for free, all while continuing to subscribe to EVE despite no content updates to actual EVE stuff.

Because EVE Online subscriptions are something to be taken for granted, as we love them so much that they could give us an expansion offering nothing more than a few cosmetic changes to some ships and guns, and we'll shower them with hookers and beer in response.


Meanwhile, in Real Life, they're balled up in a corner of their offices, going "la la la, I can't hear you," and someone just tripped the fire alarm.


Also: I find it hilarious that the same pubbies who were cheering the CSM team a few months ago for boldy rushing forth to combat the evil "Operation RMT" from CCP HQ are now calling for the CSM's head on pikes because they dare, DARED, to point out that CCP didn't actually fix any of the underlying problems that lead to the corporate culture that caused the RMT Riots in the first place...

So far, I asked in Local in Fricoure. 73 in local, 3 knew. Ill keep asking as I travel.

Asking in Highsec local isn't a fair metric, as most people probably don't look at it. I'd tell you to go look at 0.0 local cause people there actually have to pay attention to local for their own safety, but... most people out there are the ones who voted for these candidates.

It's a conundrum.
