It is always sad to read about things like this.

I heard about the attacks on the radio, but did not realise any connection to eve until I got home and read the forums. :(

I did not know Sean Smith, I think I would have liked to.

I hope the donation thing that people are setting up for his family gets lots of contributions, and isn't frozen by petty bureaucracy.

Vile Rat, I never actually knew you (in game or otherwise) but the loss of anyone from something as close to my heart as EVE is will always affect myself and others in ways we couldn't have possibly imagined before starting to play anything like this.

R.I.P. VR, and my heartfelt condolences to your family.

I am lucky enough to have never lost anyone I cared about, but VR was so chill in the two or three conversations I had with him, that I realize this is a great loss for anyone who ever met him.
