Ah, will you actually be fighting for just one side, or does your... ambivalence... extend to that too?

I am not entirely sure what you mean by fighting for just one side. If you are suggesting that I might also fight for the Gallente against the Caldari militia, that is out of the question. I would consider that a treasonous action and given militia status would be difficult logistically anyways. I will fight for the State, and have done so in the past. I was merely making note that I don't plan on taking systems the Federation lays legal claim to, and reiterating my disdain for the situation as a whole (as previously mentioned, regardless of what the CEWPA states, I don't feel it is right for the the Gallente to try to secure space in Black Rise or Caldari forces to try to secure space in Placid).

I don't plan on fighting on behalf of the Amarr militia in their area of operations, though Minmatar militia members in Caldari territory are acceptable targets.

I will of course endeavor to support corporate and alliance operations as much as I am able to as I have done in the past in Syndicate space, though I am unsure how often I will operate solo or as part of militia wide fleets, and my base of operations is some distance from Black Rise at the moment anyways. Once I am in a better position, though I have no qualms about retaking Caldari systems that have been occupied by Gallente forces; as mentioned I am loyal to the Caldari State and have fought on their behalf before, and I will fight if called to it.

I wasn't aware my combat expertise was up for hire.

However, to answer your question, umm...I suppose a cup of tea would do for most tasks. (I'm also quite the fan of baked goods).

I assume you realise you'll be potentially flying against Caldari capsuleers and definitely flying against their allies, Korsavius?

I'm sure you have excellent parties, good dental coverage and a really neat secret hangout with a password and EVERYTHING. But, you know, the fact that I-RED's return to the warzone was, you know, THIS is pretty interesting.

Makoto - I'll be in touch.

Yes, I realize. This is why I said most tasks. Tasks which involve attacking anyone in Caldari or Amarr militia I would refuse, of course.

Sigh so serious and stalwart the two of you.

And we do have a neat password protected fortress Tuulinen. And it is indeed a lovely fortress. I just don't like the color scheme. It looks like a NaPoc wanted to pretend to be a Paladin, equipped a Bastion module, and turned it on to produce a hilarious product for us and a gruesome end for itself.

Excellent. This is what I was totally failing to be subtle about, I suppose. I understand I-Red's desire to serve the State in Black Rise (who better?) however the Warzone is bit more nuanced than that. It is very, very difficult to support only one half of the alliance. Wherever you deploy you'll find Amarrian pilots flying in the same space as you and you'll certainly not have a lack of Matari pilots flying against you.

It's one of the reasons I feel no shame for the large number of Matari I've undoubtedly slaughtered in my career. Anyone blue is a 'friend' (though watch out for organisations like Fweddit) and anyone orange is an enemy - even if I love 'em to bits. It's an odd way to live. You might well find it uncomfortable.

Jokes aside. A word of advice. It makes life easier not thinking about slaughtering people. You protect you and yours and that's what matters. I just prefer people to Empires.

I totally agree with you actually - except my loyalty is to an empire, we don't agree there.

I'm just REALLY trying hard to avoid "I-Red comes to State's Aid" turning into "Ishukone and Kalaakiotaa representatives trade blows in the warzone." Because I am SICK of the contention and would like us to get along. Maker knows.

Pretty sure Makoto isn't subject to the same irritable outbursts as I was. That and, now that I'm out of the pulpit, I can flirt with your Dear Leader instead of fight with her. ... possibly both together. I bet she's feisty. Nice.

Anyways, yeah. We'll try and make it work.

Your thoughts are your own, Pieter. The emphasized portion never once crossed my mind. If you really feel as though I-RED and PYRE would freely engage each other in space, then I am suspicious the warzone has taken a greater toll on your mind and spirit than I would have thought. A shame really.

As for this whole debacle, I'm sure you know Anslo was simply joking (as was I, albeit perhaps not obviously enough).

You may have missed the memo, but our Dear Leader is now my wife. You're welcome to flirt, but we come as a package.
