Ive tried running three clients on my MBP, doing a mining OP. I'm having issues. First, I get short freezes. They last from a few seconds long to about 2 minutes. The entire computer freezes, UI, clock, everything, except the mouse pointer.

After a few of these happen, graphic anomalies start showing up. Ships turn white. Stations turn yellow. When selecting a station, the "dock" button is just an empty square. After docking, the background is black and item icons do not show (although I can still interact with the items). I have done a bug report.

I am going to set all the clients to "optimized for memory" and see if that helps. A shame if the new cider client means I have to look at an ugly game.

Update: Optimized for memory did not help, I still get hangs. It does seem to be correlated with other internet activity. The more you do outside of eve (web surfing, etc.) the greater the chance it happens. This is similar to the big lockup bug we have had for years.

Except after this morning's patch I tried again and it did not happen, despite running 3 clients while web surfing. Was there an undocumented change in this morning's patch that could have fixed it?

Not as far as I am aware Vincent. I just tried on 3 different macs without getting a reproduction, this does not mean that I have stopped looking into the issue, rest assured.

Are you running in window mode or full screen? From my experience running the clients in full screen does not cause the clients to freeze or studded. However, I can constantly regenerate this error when I run the clients in window mode.

I believe for you.

I also have the issue where the scroll bar will not freely roll when the mouse is swiped over. It stops almost immediately, making using it in space to roll in and out on your ship hard.

Also, I minimized my local window, it did not appear in the sidebar and the Channels window still thinks its opened, so it can't be joined.

I've had no audio from the EVE client since updating to Kronos. I'm not to worried about it. Tried to do some trouble shooting of my own, by turning things on and off. Reseting things from the luncher etc.

Running Multiple Clients - When I quit one, it crashes the others!

Since updating to Kronos, the Mac EVE Client has worked better for me. I can actually run three clients in a fairly stable manner for long duration, even when outputting to a 1080p TV via HDMI.

The problem, however, is that if I quit one client, the other clients immediately freeze/lock up. Doesn't matter where I am or what I am doing, so as you can imagine this is an issue when in PvE, or PvP.

I am using an older release of Acrobat Flash Reader 11 because of the previous Launcher crash/issues with the latest Adobe Flash player 13.

Haven't had a single issue since the update.

Even the freezing I was experiencing when opening the fitting window has been fixed.

I am on a 2008 iMac with 6 Gig RAM and Mavericks with a ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT 128 MB graphics

I had the same issue - use the EVE clone maker ... if the one you DL doesn't work. let me know. (as I could not DL and get it to work, had a corp mate do it for me and send it vs google.)

Hi since your Kronos patch, the mouse zoom function behaviour in space on a smart mouse on Mac has changed.
Using Mac's OSX inertia zoom function on the mouse was one of the best flying features in Eve on a Mac.
Now since your latest patch the inertia function on the apple smart mouse no longer functions at all?
Making the apple smart mouse behave in such a way that makes the peripheral device a piece of junk to use in game.
Instead of one full mouse gesture swipe with your finger on the mouse to zoom in and out to max in space it now takes 10 swipes to zoom in and out.
Please for the love of all things fix this issue quickly, is everyone else experiencing this issue?
Im running : Mavericks on 27" iMac 2013

This better describes my issue too, will give the clonemaker a try.

I run my alts on a 2nd minister. Lg 21.5 in. Everything matches my iMacs numbers and I run it via HDMI. Audio is my only problem. Never had video problems

When can we expect a fix from CCP for the Mac multi account lock ups and system crashes on simultaneous Jita undocks?
It's been days and there has been no communication in this thread.
I've tried a fresh install with the latest disk image and purging the app support folder only to continue to experience issues.

The multiboxing issues are actively being looked into by our partners. As soon as they have communicated anything to us I will update this thread. I'd like to thank you all for your reports, they've helped a great deal.

EDIT: for those of us with audio issues. the problem seems to be if we have USB based audio devices as our primary outsourcer. If you change to internal speakers before you start the eve client, you don't get audio lose.

Those of use suffering with audio. If you turn your in-game audio off, then change the output source via sound/menubar, then turn game audio back on, you will get sounds. At least this works for me. (Warning, you may need to turn the audio on and off a few times, as well as to change the inputs - setting to internal than back another source seems to work the best)

Second
For those who are having multi account issues - if your running from just the launcher, try using the EVE clone maker. That fixed my issue.

if the link from CCP doesn't work,

Heres my dropbox link

https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ks8s9g69b11pas/EVE%20Clonemaker.zip

On the Multibox issues. I had deleted my clones over a month ago. When I patched to Kronos, and brought one of my alts back online, i noted the client locking up when i'd quit the game on one.

The Clonemaker clone fixed that issue. -- As i've had issues with downloading CCPs copy, I've included the copy I have that works.

Good luck working the bugs out.

edited - updated post to reflect recent additions to issues i've had.

There is also this crazy skill queue bug. You launch game. Go into skill queue and immediately are prompted with 'You have changed skill queue. Do you want to apply changes'.
Maybe this is related to clearing cache?
The act of pausing the skill queue as been a long standing bane of mine.
When would a paying subscriber want all alts paused at once?
This is a use case CCP has forced upon us we don't need.
The act of pausing one to start another is also cumbersome.
Why not just have start? If 2 of 3 alts are plexed, you can prompt for pause which alt.
Then we come on to paused queue reimbursement from petitions.
This should be time based. At present it's given as a constant number of SP, not based on a time window.
So you are penalised for a pause bug which the code self induces randomly from time to time.
It does not adhere to the benefits of remaps or implants.
I've given up petitioning it. And have 2 alts that have been caught by this since I last complained about it.
The game should also keep track of creditable time automatically too so you can apply it without petitions, if say you have issues with redownloading or doing a system rebuild etc and can't get back into game in time to update skill queue.

Dual boxing is broken. When you close one of the clients it locks up the other and you have to force quit and restart it. Ive tried it on 5-6 different machines from MBP Retinas to week old Mac Pros. All the same result.

Eve keeps crashing.... Will submit bug report too with full crash report:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '-[__NSCFString member:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x705f84f0'
When I tried to submit a bug report out of game I could not attach a RTF or PDF file kept saying upload failed. When I tried to submit without attachment that failed too. Email my account and I'll send crash report.

Some of the Odyssey graphics glitches have resurfaced for me. This happened after turning on anti-aliasing and has remained despite turning anti-aliasing off.

• Blinking ship lights no longer appear
• Station and ship drone bays no longer display forcefields
• During missioning the background occasionally turns white again (temporarily)

I have not had a re-occurrence since the patch on June 5. I have no idea why. Maybe that patch overwrote something that got corrupted on my install? I've even tried forcing the bug to show, no luck. But I see from other threads that others are still getting it. I hope you can figure out whats going on.
