Therefore, retrograde capsule access is granted to only the highest levels of pirate faction command, further complicating the process of bounty collection.

In order to collect these NPC bounties, the frozen corpse and their unique belongings are required.

Due to this new capability by non-player characters, the bounties accrued are quite extensive. Although the same bounty system for capsulers applies to npc pods ("The bounty payout is roughly 20% of the value of all destroyed objects (ships, modules, cargo, implants"), faction commanders are often showered with isk for completing certain tasks. The trick is preventing them from warping.


Only works if you reduce the number of rats by 10, multiply bounties by 10 and overhaul the rat-AI to be a lot more vicious. CCP, do this please!



In that case make them demons to fight, tougher than incursion rats as befitting non player capsular pilots.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

Add indicators of ME and PE on BPO and BPC icons. For example, put ME in the upper right hand corner of the icon and PE on the lower right hand of the icon. I hate r-clicking. Also, put runs remaining in the lower left corner for BPCs.

I suppose that could work, but why not keep the dev coding simple and only change codes for the last room of the site. Ten percent of the time you clear the last room (not just kill the guy in the back), an extra room spawns just for a faction commander w/npc pod; surprise, you are not finished.

Idk, some kind of mechanic that increases rareity and challenge. Also, ships fitted for running the sites solo would have trouble catching the npc pod solo. To the extent you want to bring friends for every time you run these kinds of sites, because the payout when the group catches the npc pod makes the time worthwhile. And if you are solo and know you are unlikely to finish the rare extra-room spawn (that despawns on a timer or a similar mechanic), that may influence players to always bring friends.

I thought this was supposed to be the bad idea thread - make a real thread for that - when I find it I'll support it.

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

Structural damage can no longer be repaired by modules or station repair shops, only by industrial characters with the skills to build that ship, and using a procentage of the original materials.

Targeting more than one mining laser at one rock carries the risk of a Ghostbusters style 'Crossing the beams' explosion...that either drastically increases yield for that cycle whilst vaporizing the rest of the rock or causes sever damage to surroundings vessels.

And remember capsuleers, when someone asks if you are a God You...say...yes! (well nearly)

I would love something like this.

A system where you could actually say

"Divert ALL POWER TO SHIELDS"
"FULL POWER TO GUNS!"

A system where you could sacrifice like 20% cap recharge for 10% increased shield recharge
and for guns aswell, 20% cap recharge for 10% increased weapon damage, i guess it only applies to lasers and hybrid weapons.
