Corp forum deployment feedback thread

The deployment of corporation forums is underway. They are live but not everybody will see them right away due to caching.

Note that right now only corps of 10 or more can activate corp forums while we're making sure everything is working as intended. This is a number that can be changed later.

Please use this thread for feedback related to the corp forums! We'll use it to post any updates if needed.

There should be an option right near the top of your forum interface if you are a director in a corp of 10 or more. But note that it might take a bit of time for it become visible for everyone.

We're mainly being careful at the moment but we may soon lower it to five. Or a different number. Let's see :)

The only thing i think is missing is an alliance room.....that would be the cherry on top

Not now, no. But...if this is well received and all goes well, we're obviously closer to being able to do something like that. But I'm not a web programmer (although I'm pretty boss with HTML yo) so I can't make any promises on what they can accomplish right now. There are probably some questions that would need to be answered about load and such.

But the dream is alive!

I was going to ask a question why I could start the corporation forums with an alt that is a director in his corp, but not with Datdaar who is CEO of Muggers Inc. Now I know.....Sad

Doing all the rough and dirty work below deck so the posh bloody bastards can do their shitty hero things.

Bit of a funny one, I'm happy to see that this is happening, but I'm not activating corp forums on EVE-Gate as we already have an external board. I don't want to split communications or clutter up everyone's forum view with a disused section.

So, please don't mistake non-use for disinterest in the feature!

I would like to see EVE Gate corp forums be given a public section somehow, maybe accessed by viewing the corp's profile?

Any idea when this might happen? small corps can grow but only if you allow them access to the tools that larger corps have. which I believe was the entire philosophy behind this move. although I do understand that one must be cautious initially, thinks 1 bazzillion 1 man corp tidal wave. be bold pilot eh sorry dev.
