On a more serious note, you guys are like a freakin' puzzle, with pieces that 'appear' to fit in a multitude of of places. I'll be waiting on that Later™.

I hope not, insofar as the whole Walking in Stations project. Just because part of it was rushed forward in an attempt to extract as much money from the cash cow that is CCP's customers, doesn't mean the concept is bad. It just needs to be completed to a level that blows us away and delivers real content, the lack of which was the problem with CQ in Incarna.

Yeah, well, as far as they've shown us what they had in mind for Incarna, I'm not particularly sure they had much of a good concept to go with. But, alas, they might still have an ace up their sleeve that they didn't tell us about. I for one hope they do.

Nope, not wasted.

Looking for the right way to blossom? Yes. We will make sure we do Avatars the right way for EVE and will make sure we do it in a way that doesn't detract from everything else we have already in game.

I know I am in the minority that post on the forums but can high sec carebears get some carrots? Any chance the aleatory mission engine will become a reality? You know unlimited mission choice not one the same as the other? How about more solo content? Crucible was great, Incarna was .....err......not great?

Changes are always difficult and we often do not see the personal, heart-wrenching process that led to them in CCP's offices.

I'd like to personally thank CCP Zulu for his contributions, and hope he will still play a significant role in shaping our Universe. Also to the past and present employees of CCP for their hard work, not to mention the many sacrifices by their families, to making Eve *the* Sci-Fi MMO by which all others will be judged. All that you have done have been for the love of the art, and our enjoyment.

I wish CCP Unifex all the best in filling his new, very large shoes. While I do welcome what he has said with regards to enhancing the FiS aspect starting from the Crucible expansion, I continue to look forward to the Incarna developments. I truly believe that Incarna, as well as Dust, will give us a holistic Sci-Fi experience that no other game will come close to doing in the foreseeable future. What Dust aims to do will truly be transformational to both platforms and genres. When the time is ripe, I hope CCP will also launch WoD successfully and give that franchise the same technological and game design breakthroughs that it deserves.

This month marks the 6th year I've been playing Eve (hit the 100 millionth sp yesterday woot showoff time). As long as CCP and my fellow capsuleers continue to believe in this "game", there will be nowhere else for me to go.

Exactly the right way of thinking, to bad you didn't think like that 3 years ago. I still want to see something more like what was showed of in the 2009 and 2008(?) fanfests though. Those art assets looked awesome and extremely "eve", more than the art design we have today sadly.

I wish you the best of luck Unifex and looking forward to what you guys will deliver this spring (I hope we don't need to wait to long for some more fixes, crucidible was good and fixed a lot of smaller stuff but some larger things urgently needs touching upon (sov warfare, supercarrier spidertanks (remove the rep range bonus already!) , FW tweaks) :)

I don't mean to be rude, but CCP Unifex? what kind of cruddy name is that? It sounds like a brand of sticky tape or window spray...

I didn't like what CCP Zulu achieved much but at least he got a decent name.... Pah. P

Oh and War as a theme? What is it good for? Absolutely nothing.

A thank you to CCP Zulu for all the work he put in. I wasn't happy with the direction things went but that seems to have been outside his control. Also posting to confirm CCP Unifex knows his stuff (we met a number of times during CSM5's term) and is quite possibly exactly the right person to take over.

I hope that things improve during 2012.

Finally, we will be concentrating on those features we already have in the game after 8 years of development. Yes, we will be iterating (it‘s not a dirty word) on those features which need some polish, balance, fixes and general love. The releases throughout 2012 will be an extension of the type of release we had with Crucible with the addition of a theme to help us scope and tie the work into a really compelling and coherent package. The first theme is going to be War and everyone is getting very excited about it.

Normally, I'd say "what you do, not what you say," but Crucible finally put CCP's money where their mouth was. I have a lot more faith now that these sorts of plans will actually be implemented sometime in the near future, and it's exciting. Lol

Revisiting War Dec Mechanics? "WAR" themed expansion sounds like a good time for it...

Good luck Zulu, hope it turns out well for you, whatever you do!

Unifex - Good luck, I wish you well.

I was hoping to see a post about Hilmar. Kinda disappointed. Indifferent about seeing Zulu go. But that by no means means Unifax has an easy road ahead. Things will be difficult. We players demand a lot, but most of all we demand you follow through with your promises, which you haven't since I've been playing.

we all sit patiently awaiting the TotalHellDeath expansion.

More time for Zulu to develop the $1k jeans hobby, I hope. Everybody should pursue their dream.

Welcome new person Uniflex. Don't let the cocks in the executive suite corner you into **** projects with unfeasible time frames and untenable deliverables.

It is better to have left CCP with your head held high than to drive the train into yet another icelandic wreck.

People have been shocked by the price range in the NeX store, but you should remember that we are talking about clothes. Look at the clothes you are currently wearing in real life. Do you have any specific brands? Did you choose it because it was better quality than a no-name brand? Assume for a short while that you are wearing a pair of $1,000 jeans from some exclusive Japanese boutique shop. Why would you want to wear a pair of $1,000 jeans when you can get perfectly similar jeans for under $50? What do other people think about you when they see you wearing them? For some you will look like the sad culmination of vainness while others will admire you and think you are the coolest thing since sliced bread. Whichever it is, it is clear that by wearing clothes you are expressing yourself and that the price is one of the many dimensions that clothes possess to do that in addition to style and fit. You don't need to buy expensive clothes. In fact you don't need to buy any clothes. Whatever you choose to do reflects what you are and what you want others to think you are.

then get some education

uni- = one
-fex = builder/maker
(don't confuse the sufffix -fex with the noun fex^^)

compare to pontifex, artifex, ...

unifex is a little weird because it is a prefix and a suffix with nothing in between but whatever...

I guess it could be translated as something along the lines of "the unifier" (which sounds like someone CCP would need)
