Poorly fit stealth bombers don't really count though do they. While props on killing them they're not exactly standard frigates with a tank and the usual frig speed. If they had fit properly, no rigors or flares (wtf was that about) and damps it would have been a different story. The inty with the cargo expander.... I think we can ignore that one too.

Why would I try to kill a cruiser with a stealth bomber? Wrong ship for that unless you're using multiple bombs. Properly fit stealth bombers in a gang will have a 30k disruptor (36 overheated), 2 damps and inverted signal field projectors. Two bombers can damp a sensor boosted Raven down to 26km on overheat. Solo you should be in a hound with polycarbs, target painters, 2 bcu and a nano.

But as I stated earlier, stealth bombers are stealth bombers, frigate hull but no frigate tank and no frigate speed.

A ROF bonus per level = 5% reduction between rocket launcher II cycles. Rocket Launcher II has a level 5 skilled ROF of 2.16. At level 5 that equates to a ROF of 1.58 bonused. That's .41. Multiply the original 163 x 0.41 = 65.

I'm not the greatest at math but that looks right. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My original example used rockets. RLML gives you 216 dps. Total dps on a raven with bonused RLML = 478 (previous 263) which is still less than the average cruiser, and less than a destroyer.

Its hardly overpowered or imbalanced given you lose 275 dps over RHML.

A Rokh with the largest small blasters gets 384 dps @ 1.1km with 3k falloff. 465 with T2 warriors but given the guns will not be able to hit anything in range (rokh is slow) you'll have 80dps to kill a frigate.

Yeah messed it up.

8 small neutrons with void = 623 - 1.7 optimal 1.6 falloff
8 heavy nuetrons with void = 1082 - 10 optimal 6.3 falloff

The difference is huge.
Doing 623 dps to 1.7k is not going to kill anything because it will not be in your optimal for long if at all. The tradeoff is 400 dps and 9km optimal range.

Now taking my idea into account what would change on the Rokh?

10% bonus to optimal range of all hybrid weapons:

The Rokh would now have an optimal of 1.61 instead of 1.1.

Rokh doesn't get damage bonus or rof bonus.

How could you pop a frigate in scram range?

Scram range is 10km for a T2.
At 9km you'll be hitting the frig for about 10 dps but most likely completely missing it.
The frig can keep you scrammed and webbed from 15k with a T2 heated but it'd be completely safe at 10km imo.
Webbed and scrammed you'll be doing about 50m/s
Webbed and scrammed the frig will be doing close to 200 m/s.
With a oversized ab it'll be doing 1k m/s.

There's no way to close range. No way to escape unless your disrupted and have a MJD. Only option is 80dps unbonused drones that a competent frig will kill. Smartbombs won't work. Heavy Stasis grappler at that range will be worse then a standard web.

When did all this stop being a thing? I come and go from this game tbh, and to save op e-stalking this is not the combat char and the combat char left 0.0 a few years back lol.

I was taught BS' don't fly alone. I was taught fleets have scouts. Frigate finds the camps, report the camp, clear the camp if lucky. vice even a BC which will likely DIAF after the reporting bit lol. In short...there is always room for frigates if only to find bubbles the hard way lol.

The BS entitlement (no pun intended) I find troublesome. Is it hypocrisy or ignorance.

Hypocrisy based on being lower sp once (and I didnt forget those roots) it was tackle frigate flying that got me my foot in the door. Sure it was this way for many. Grrr frigates I am not getting. I started pvp tackling this crap, won't even lie about not enjoying it.

Later on as the SP built up, I was the BS pilot. getting tackled and going well this is karma saying hi. Drop lights (edit drones that is) , see if my new friend can deal with them and takes things from their really. I blow up....well...been there before on the other side, its now my turn. Are people lacking this sense of where they came from...or their low sp tacklers are what has gotten them kills more than once I am sure?

Or ignorance? Did the 0.0 scene pick up a bunch or "leveling up their ravens" (as ccp put it) pilots. Are these people thinking wrongly their BS are uber. Not even seeing this. Yes I carebear now. And I do it wisely....omni tank, opt for "overtank" by pve standards, etc. Dreaded grrr ganker threat some are on about. This doesn't change out in 0.0 for these people...no concord so it gets worse lol.

Now back to imba op....eve is open sandbox. It has to create a "fair" environment. The 5 mil sp will meet the 50mil sp and the 100mil sp players. How does this work without the 100ml sp killing the 50 or the 5 like its nothing?


Answer: ship classes. Noob "scrub" in the fast tackle frigate, I am godlike sp in the BS. Mr. I am uber 100mil solo bs is humbled by the tackle. Or your fleet. when you have 500 mil in sp in BS' (say 5 100 mil sp players) are going what can we do oh no....they deserve to blow up. This fleet had issues before they hit undock. It had no frigate scouts. Or are some of you bs over all types blind jumping systems? Scary if so.


the imba issue is this removes this. A bs that is a quick change away from being a cruiser or frigate smasher with no penalties removes the need potentially for frigs dessies and cruisers. This game then becomes BS's online, well t3 online as well.

Worth noting its t3 online that hurts this. I spec a tengu just right its killing BS and frigs with somewhat equal ease. This is where I am agreement with the nerf t3 people tbh. Its too master of all trades in this respect. We don't need this with even cheaper BS'. T3 I can argue at least needs money to get BS EHP and DPS (shiny mods). BS would get this all t2 fit for low cost.

Look I know you have a video and all really that's sweet but there is just no way a battleship can beat a frig even 1v1 let alone against a gang didn't you know that?
