Same I think the change still needs to be deployed.

same here it worked fine on eve gate , but when i go back to the forums loads sansha background

I like that notifications actually take you to the last post now however the notification tab is so unreadable (Grey WTF?) And the wording you use in the notification drop down tab is just wasted and cuts out the actual name of the thread listed.

The post date is now shown as how long ago the post was made. Any chance you could add an option to show the date in addition /instead of the time from the post? Better yet, would you give that option to those of us too who don't care to log on every time we want to read the forums?

A few comments on the current change :
- By any chance, if we can change the background, can we have a checkbox to make it static on the page, so when we scroll, we don't have a black background adter a few posts ?
- I'm missing a direct link from eve-gate to forum and to dev blogs
- will there be again a link to devblog somewhere in the forum ? (that was usefull not to make a few clicks to switch forum / devblogs)
- How can i see my last posts (as it's not anymore in gate) ?

Agreed.

The time stamp definitely needs to be reverted back to how it was before. Come on, this is a game based in the future with spaceships and computers, it should list the year, day, hour, minutes and seconds of when it was posted.

I hate to say this but having it show "A few minutes ago" or "About an hour ago" or "A day ago" tells me you're doing the same thing to these forums as you're doing to the game, dumbing it down.

You can see the UTC time by hovering the mouse over the timeago text. The main reason we did this change is because people have hard time figuring out when a post was actually made because of different timezones.

Could you please provide us with your Chrome version? I'm unsuccessful at reproducing this error using the latest version of Chrome.

As for those anticipating the return of background selection from EVE Gate, we're working on it along with the known issues.

Chrome Version was 36.0.1976.0 (268296)

I updated to Version 40.0.2197.0 and everything is fine now.

I also noticed that everytime I log in that there are no "New Post" icons shown . They show up when new posts are written during a login session. But after a re-login they are all gone again even when I had not read any of these posts.

Is this the correct behaviour for new posts or a bug?

The stars are only there at first log in. After the first starred item has been opened all the other stars vanish, which makes the feature utterly useless.

Everyone has to manage with UTC in game, why should it be any more difficult on the forums?
