Hadn't meant to create a Tori Amos look alike, it just worked out that way

The first name comes from a story. Ket was a multi legged turrent gunner of some alien origin. I liked the name and it seemed to fit.

The last name was made up on the fly.

After ending up with an oriental character

Emiko is the name of a friend's wife in Japan.
P'eng is the surname of the Chinese Restaurant owner down the road

I really have not a clue how I came up with this name. I probably just got done playing a game as the soviets and came up it somehow. I used to not like it a few years ago but it has grown on me.

Only other name I would change it too is Kate Okaseki but only for various RP reasons.

The college i attended was the kind where you live at the school, and they had some pretty strict rules such as not leaving your "building" after such and such time at night.
Lucky for me i had a room at first floor, and i became an expert at crawling in and out of the window, as well as avoiding the guards that would walk around the school area at random times during the night hoping to catch someone sneaking into other buildings visiting their bf/gf

Since i was a smoker and had trouble sleeping at night my friends knew perfectly well what i was doing and was never surprised when i would be late for the first class due to oversleeping. In this particular friend group there was one girl that insisted that everyone should have specific nicknames, something that fit with their personality (one of us was dubbed Martini, im sure you can guess why ).
This girl quickly started to call me NightCrawler, because of the fact that i would sneak around during the night.

I had never really liked my real name, so somehow the nickname stuck and now only close family uses my real name unless its something "official".

In later years i moved to America, and even here i keep using a shorter my nickname.
People react on it of course, but when i explain to them that when an English speaker tries to pronounce my name they are really calling me the Norwegian equivalent of.. hrm..well not a very nice word

But well, when i started to play EVE it just felt natural to use the name that i use in real life. The 85 i think speaks for it self
