That's another tactic of people like you. You take one thing I say, twist it how it works for you and repost it to me as if you're "one-upping" me. That's what I am talking about. I said my peace, addressed CCP Falcon. Why are you even in it? You or Belt or Doc or whoever else....what's your purpose?

You need the thrill of talking back to me. You know I can't do anything about it except talk back. You feed off of it like a superstar feeds off the red carpet. You don't feel the knot in your chest and the weight of being aware that you're speaking plain English (or French, though admittedly I only know sloppy French) and yet the people around you either don't understand or don't want to understand.

The people I feel that should be shot in the head are the heretics. The instigators. The people this thread was made about who take this crap off of a game and into real life. I'll be in bed soon, next to a beautiful young woman 11 years my junior who adores me. You want to know why? Because I make her feel like a princess. She only knows about EVE online because I tell her I am mining while I am at work. I don't blow up Twitter or scratch up a monument because you blew up my mining barge. If I ever met you in real life, I'd probably give you a fist bump and tell ya have a nice day.

But you, James....you take it upon yourself to infringe on my right to post on the forum addressing clearly the words from CCP Falcon and try to make it about you. You're selfish. You're jaded and can't see past the end of your nose. A+B conversation, C your way out of it holmes.

Do you not understand? Imagine if we eliminated the CoD mentality. "I just wanna shoot people in the face." "mmm delicious tears"

If you could be granted one wish, I'd ask for $1 every time someone in this game uttered one of those phrases. You'd be rich in a day. Do you not see the problem with that? The community feeds off of the negativity and depravity. Those types of people are worthless and do not benefit the world. Be rid of them, permanently. Its why stupid people shouldn't be allowed to breed.

However....your "Concord" consequence is not a consequence at all. You can just warp and cloak after like, what? 45 seconds? poof...problem solved.

No, this isn't correct.

The mechanics don't work this way at all. A ganker has 100% assurance of losing their ship. They are not allowed to avoid Concord and there are mechanisms in place to prevent them from avoiding Concord.

In relation to the rest of your post, this thread isn't about the broader morals in the community. It's about the action of a single (as far as we know) person.

This thread doesn't have to be turned into a soapbox against playstyles that you personally find distasteful, because within the thread almost all people, no matter what playstyle they prefer, has expressed a similar view about the act that occurred.

Bless you. Legit. Logging into the game right now to send you 100 million isk. A intelligent well articulated response. You're my goddamn hero tonight.

(p.s. I've seen someone do it in the Nemesis, so there has to be a way around Concord)

That may have been a while ago as I think the mechanism now prevents warping.

However, that aside CCP have ruled that avoiding Concord is not allowed and if you do and are reported, it is a bannable action.

I'll see if I can dig up the ruling and edit it back into this post.

EDIT: Right on the Concord mechanics evelopedia page. Second paragraph.

I see that for sure...but man it was the gnarliest thing because dude warped in with his nemesis, started dropping bombs and sure enough, within like 5-10 seconds there was Concord, but dude warped out and was in local cussing up a storm being like Concord can't touch me, stupid NPC police ships can't beat my cloak and blah blah blah. Nobody responded to him and after a few minutes he left the system idk if he stargate jumped out or just went offline *shrugs*

100 mil for ya as promised....appreciate you actually writing a response that required thought.

Your evemail telling me how much of a real man you are and I'm not is a little at odds with your whining about my having challenged your opinion.

Your opinion isn't sacred and you don't have a right to post on this forum, merely a privilege which can be taken from you. Regardless my perfectly spot-on assessments of your posts don't infringe upon this privilege in any way. See, I have that same privilege, and as part of that privilege I'm free to voice my complete and utter disagreement with everything you've said. It doesn't matter who you were addressing - you posted it here, so it's free for all.

That's also, incidentally, how free speech works. You're free to say what you want, and I'm free to call you on your bullshit. Part of being a real man is being able to take criticism. You should try it sometime.

That's a sound point....but opinion vs logic I think is where the line should be drawn. Examine some real life less than desirable individuals...please lend me you ear and indulge me a brief moment.

I work at a pawn shop in real life and today a regular customer brought in an air conditioning unit. It was dirty as if it had rolled around in a pigpen with the piggies and upon plugging it up and turning it on, we saw cockroaches crawl out of it. We unplugged it and got it out of the store as quickly as possible.

Now wouldn't you agree that anyone that disgusting is stupid? That underlying principal and logic should restrain that person from breeding yet with him was his bratty little 3 year old tagalong child with a dirty face, disheveled and wrinkled clothing and ragamuffin look.

There is opinion and then there is fact. That's all I'm saying. Stupid people should not be allowed to breed.

If you've seen someone avoid Concord then you should report them to CCP, evading Concord is considered to be an exploit.

I'm not even going to comment on the rest of the "content" in your posts.

Its actually considered an exploit if you find a way to avoid Concord once you have drawn their attention. This has come up in the past as well.

They've had to patch numerous times over the years to correct exploits that allow for one to escape unscathed.

The last big one was the boomerang exploit ----> http://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/eve-online-news/exploit-notification-boomerang-avoiding-concord-in-high-security-space.-updated/

Exploit notification: “Boomerang” - avoiding CONCORD in high security space. *Updated*
30.03.2012 14:42
By Svarthol

It has come to our attention that players have been avoiding retaliation from CONCORD after committing criminal activities in high security space. We would like to remind you of the following information from Customer Support:

‘If you gain a Global Criminal Countdown by committing an illegal action in high security space, it is considered an exploit to attack a target after you warp away from the grid, or warp within the same grid, where you gained that GCC; even if you later return to that grid while still affected by that GCC.

It is a violation of game policy to avoid retaliation from CONCORD and players who are found using this exploit will have action taken by Game Masters on their accounts. A fix for this exploit, including proper patch notes, will be released as soon as possible.

Indeed while a good read, too much of it can bring bad cases of self-important nihilism.

Being a moderate cynic is good enough, so put the damn books away for a while and go do some volunteer work to some sort of ONG or something.
