You also have the option of giving ISK directly to anybody you want in game once it's in your wallet whereas lottery tickets aren't an in-game item. A post offering to transfer the Nyx to an alliance who was the first to purchase a set amount of GTCs might have more success, as BL would still have the right to do that in-game without GTC sales if they chose to. I'm still confused on the technical difference between BL's Nyx lottery and SOMER's 'blink credit' - they seem very much the same outside of blink credit giving customers a choice of which item to bid on.

Edit: Did you even read their lockthreads? Man. They were trying to be an unofficial ETC reseller which is clearly forbidden ("I'll sell you a GTC for 2000$"). The other one was character lottery, which is also clearly forbidden. Our threads have none of that.


I was not going to post in your thread till i read "It's safer than getting straight ISK from my competitors". Thats not playing nice. I thought your idea was good at first. Stats 237 ETC sales $8000 spent 118b given out i dont see CCP taking that away for customers after they have not stoped me while they have had time. They will probley say dont do it in the future.

You are selling yourself short. Basically your giving away 500M ISK to put $1.75 into your pocket.

That is way under market value. You'd be better off reducing that to about 225M ISK ... something a tad higher than Somer, but still preferable. 200M Blink Credit vs. 225 M ISK ... the choice is obvious.

CCP (probably) aren't stupid enough to start removing isk from your customers because that will most likely cost them a lot in lost subscriptions.
The only one who's likely to get an infraction here is you, simply because your corp name isn't SOMER.

They cannot punish him without admitting what SOMER does is also wrong. The problem for them is people are clued up, and watching things like this, to see how they react.

Really CCP have brought this on themselves, sadly.
