Why would you expect a member of the Goonswarm to represent the players... other than his Alliance?

He's not in Goonswarm...
I know, but if the concept is CSM is suppose to represent the players... wouldn't that also apply to other CSM members? mynnna

The election changed nothing about Malcanis... which is great and what I hoped for.Blink

Not "we".

Would never vote any person in a position of authority who is this unwise to use it.

I treat EvE like an utility. I pay my monthly bill and expect the service that the utility provides. It's not paying a bill to watch a kid pull down his drawers and moon the community, like a 2 year-old still in diapers (diapers that long needed changing). For that I can just watch it on YouTube, without a monthly charge, or see the tomfoolery called "CSM".

You have CSM attached to your name and given your attitude, hopefully not for long!

Learn to post with some decorum or give up or position and go back to being just a regular player.

(btw, CSM Malcanis' post was not directed at me, but this kind of post by a CSM needs to stop)

yea Malcanis is doing it over and over again, I had the pleasure of him insulting me as well, he also likes to make fun about others especially new players, that guy should be removed, not sure why he made it to become CSM anyway, guess its because all douchebags in the game need someone to vote for as well...

Actually that part has been a bit disappointing. The CCP people we've been dealing with are irritatingly unwilling to come up with horrible ideas for me to hate on.

Luckily, there's always the EVE-forums!

The majority of people who got elected for this CSM are not in Goonswarm. They represent thier player because they got elected by these same players. It's nobody's fault but themself if a shitload of pubbies didn't vote or find a candidate that could represent them and vote strongly for him/her.

You see OP?

You have Harry Forever on your side.

At this point you should really backtrack and figure out where it all went so wrong.

WE elected him as a whole because the playerbase were the voters. He got enough vote to be elected wich mean the playerbase wanted him.

Again, it is the concept that the represent the players... they don't; and there is no requirement that they do. They are players CCP interact with directly. Just players.

OP definitely needs to lighten up a bit. I mean, what's wrong with a CSM voicing his opinion? He is a player just like you and I, and he has a right to voice his opinion in any means he sees fit. As I said OP, lighten up.

Someone claimed the average age in EvE of it's players is 38 years-old (I'm closer to 50).

Mal is 23, and acts everything like that 13 year-old cousin that visits, that you want to leave like yesterday.

Which shows even on the behavioral level, he's not suited for the job.

And adults don't prefer kids telling them what to do, especially if they're this unwise.

23 year-old competent guy, sure. Someone who has the social skillset to actually be a politician.

I'm 41, and I'm no politician. I disclaimed any intention to run for re-election in my campaign thread, and I ran on a platform of being exactly who I am, take it or leave it.

yea please leave Malcanis, you are just wrong for that position, and you give other jounger players the wrong impression how to act in forums and in the game, you are one reason this is such an impolite environement

If the playerbase though they would not be correctly be represented by these, they should of voted for others or run for CSM themself. The whole point of the election is just that.

For a representative on the CSM. Ya know, the whole reason why the election happen, so the players can choose who will represent them in front of CCP?
