Bullshit. You got scammed and you're trying to get it declared an exploit rather than admit you got tricked.

You have CSM attached to your name and given your attitude, hopefully not for long!

Learn to post with some decorum or give up or position and go back to being just a regular player.

(btw, CSM Malcanis' post was not directed at me, but this kind of post by a CSM needs to stop)

Agreed, he is not representing CCP in a good light or the people that he represents.

I thought CSM's were suppose to represent the players when they met with CCP...

Why would you expect a member of the Goonswarm to represent the players... other than his Alliance?

Well, Malcanis was pretty clear with his post. I would prefer to have a clear, concise answer than some rambling bit of babble trying to get the point across while bending over backwards to not offend anyone.

Since I voted for him, I believe he is representing me just fine.

Bullshit. You missed the fact Malcanis posted like that before getting elected and now try to get him declared a bad poster even after we elected him as a representative knowing full well how he would represent us.

this kind of post is why i voted for him

It's why I have him on ignore. 23 year-old that still lives in a 13 year-old world, with the same attitude and lack of wisdom.

And your upvotes show how the CSM is so wrong for EvE, as it turns a game into a Facebook popularity contest. CSMs have no real power in itself, and CCP just gets a messed up game in the process, as dinosaurs refuse to change. Defeats why the CSMs were concepted, and hurts CCP in the end, as the game stagnates.

Malcanis telling it for what it is and people getting mad over it.

Does being CSM somehow mean they all have to wear suits and end every sentence with the word *sir*?

Wait, do you object to his point re: game mechanic/exploit or his language?

If the second ... I don't get why some people attribute magical power to words. Really, no harm was done. Move along.

If the first, he was correct. This is no exploit. Move along.

Someone claimed the average age in EvE of it's players is 38 years-old (I'm closer to 50).

Mal is 23, and acts everything like that 13 year-old cousin that visits, that you want to leave like yesterday.

Which shows even on the behavioral level, he's not suited for the job.

And adults don't prefer kids telling them what to do, especially if they're this unwise.

23 year-old competent guy, sure. Someone who has the social skillset to actually be a politician.

Actually that part has been a bit disappointing. The CCP people we've been dealing with are irritatingly unwilling to come up with horrible ideas for me to hate on.

Luckily, there's always the EVE-forums!

*sigh* As usual, you are wrong as hell.

Malcanis is good at EVE Online, and has a very good understanding of the game. You are neither.

Furthermore, it's not a job. He doesn't get paid, he wasn't even the chairman.

And, as to your age prejudice... A good idea is a good idea, no matter who it comes from. I pride myself on my intellectual honesty, so if a "kid" (you can replace "kid" with any racial slur to if you like) told me something worthwhile, I'll listen. I don't filter content based on who it comes from, that is just bigotry.

I'm 41, and I'm no politician. I disclaimed any intention to run for re-election in my campaign thread, and I ran on a platform of being exactly who I am, take it or leave it.

Aside from the profanity, I don't see anything wrong with his statement. He's making an assertion about a player that will not admit that he/she has been snookered properly and within normal operating conditions.

Although, I wonder... If any of us regular players said, "Bullshit" or used any other profane words within our posts, even when making valid points, will our threads get locked for cause? If so, then it is inappropriate for him to use profane language in his posts because it is a forum rules violation. He should not get any special perks or treatment and be allowed to use such words when the rest of us cannot.

However, if it ain't against the rules to say "Bullshit" in a thread post, then where's the problem?

So, is it against the rules, or is it not against the rules? Referee? The rule book, please.

Its not imo a job as such. Its an unpaid position voted for by his peers who im pretty sure are adult enough for someone to say something is bullshit without giving 2 bullshits about.
