eve time is 1134 hrs,Shocked Launcher partly in Russian (connect button and information around it, the rest is in english). (out of game one) is in Russian. ran repair tool 6 times, launcher does update but.....Location is South Dakota, USA... sorry but wont log on unless its in English, doesn't trust itOops

ive almost readed every page in this thread and:

amazing how a lot of people react, its like little children that got taken away their popsickle.

let me tell you this:
i know a lot of companies that dont give feedback, dont care about the players, and give you the finger when you ask about something. hell, there is this certain company that would have banned most of the people on here because they dont like what the players write.

for instance, the launcher beeing in russian: I for one do not care about that, as a matter in fact, it might aswell be written in chineese. why? Because it does still allow me to log into the game, and if people are stupid enough not to know that the top box is your account name, and the lower box is you password, then they have an issue. oh yeah, before i forget, that yellowish bar you need to click to start playing, even in russian it says play, its not like its going to be saying: click here to blow up your pc. (for some raging little kids iun here, it actually might be a solution though!)

What I found was that my internet connection started to play up with the eve server locations. I did a windows internet repair .. ( specifically conneted to the locations I could not connect to. When windows gave the option. then I did a eve repair.. worked for me..??? I know always hard to explain perfectly over the internet when we cant see how your computer behaves with spercific instrutions.

Okay so currently i have two problems with eve at the moment firstly the client is partly in Russian even though English is selected as my language and secondly every time i log in i get to character selection and select my character but then get kicked out due to socket been closed or some times no message eve just crashes i would greatly appreciate some information on this and when it is planned on being fixed.

Three things about me,

  1. I hate Feroxes
  2. Caldari FTW
  3. NEVER ignore the frigates EVER!!!

I am having similar issues. The login button on the launcher and also when I loged into the forum to post this. "Войти

Пожалуйста, введите ваше имя пользователя и пароль." is what it said when I lgged in here.

Browsing from an iPhone, so excuse me asking if already answered, but why is everything in Russian today? Not that I have anything against Russians, just not seen a locale flub like this since the great collation copy disaster in the early 00s

On a serious note problems with software localization could mean more serious stuff needs to be sorted out that we wouldn't notice otherwise. Sometimes sloppy work gets the sneaky bugs found faster, if we are lucky.


So CCP your launcher is seriously ganked, kindly fix it, if not quickly at least thoroughly.
