Launcher not working? - LOOK HERE

Did the repair, did the DL of the patch file, if i run from the bin exe it just loops around and around re-doing the patch. Get the offline message on every launcher screen.

Soooo .... good thing i have Borderlands 2 ... sigh.

This is what worked for me

Run the 'REPAIR' exe from the main CCP/Eve folder, wait for this to finish.
Go to the Bin folder and run the 'Exefile' as admin, this then allowed me to log in as usual.

Do not use the short cut or try to login via the launcher as this does not work.

Launcher worked perfectly for me loading 2 accounts.

First time I logged on seemed like all my windows had reset but without touching anything I shut the client down, started another and everything was back to normal with all my settings having been found.

I launched the game via ExeFile.exe

When i try to log i get "Invalid Protocol" error.

Anyone in same position?

No, i didn't tried repair tool, dont't have time to play with wasting time...

Same here as the others. Applied the patch and now I am getting the "Offline mode".

debug.log in the root directory is getting this Error every time I run the Launcher:

[0521/193139:ERROR:proxy_resolver_winhttp.cc(79)] WinHttpGetProxyForUrl failed: 12167

Repair is not working till now... Back to trying again...

I'm getting repair tool issues, i tried downloading the launcher, failed, i've tried just about everything, and now im fed up. CCP, **** ***.

for the repair tool guys, it took me a few tries to actually get the repair tool open, and once I did it says "starting" and does nothing should I let it chiil, or keep trying to open it again til it works?

My repair tool launched but nothing shows up. I see it in task manager, but there's nothing indicating it's doing anything.

I have just completed an uninstall-reinstall of Eve

1. The launcher still doesn't work : "No connection could be made to the content server. Please make sure that your Internet connection is up and restart the Launcher."

2. I was able to get into the client manually

3. I'm running Windows 7 on AMD processor

4. Devs please do the following : Drink 2 cups of black coffee, down a handful of sugar and punch yourself in the head. You are now feeling approximately how I'm feeling.

Running the repair (took 3 mins 50secs) then running Exefile from /bin worked perfectly for me, and i am now ingame.

This is on a windows 7 64bit @ 20:55 gmt+2

After many attempts of running this that and the other suggestions from route folder and yes as admin.

its time to re download the whole client..

as per someone above me next time give us a head up so i can sit in a 30+ day skill

Is anyone else having a problem when you launch it with the exefile when you log in it says "Server incompatible (Protocol)"? I'm running the repair now.

got the repair tool to launch after a few tries, it runs for a bit and then I get message saying the connection was forcibly closed and the repair tool shuts down
