Having Amarrian drone boats in every ship class makes it silly when the game fiction claims Gallente as the drone race. Yet one more step in removing the historical traits from each race's line of ships. Amarr were supposed to be all about immense laser damage and thick armor with everything else secondary.

Also I believe the neut range bonus leads to massive geddon blobs in 0.0 sec that no one wants to fight. Something like the drake blobs when it was new.

At least for heaven's sake remove those launcher slots from the poor geddon. Do Amarrian pilots now also need to train good skills?

The Geddon should not have identical bandwidth and dronebay to the Dominix. I don't know what the magic numbers should be but 36km large neuts are huge in their own right.

Amarr are not and will not be newbie friendly. There are serious issues with cap skill wise. You need way too high cap skills to be able to fly most of ships and still feel happy. PVE wise shield ships are better in many aspects and more easy to train.

This issue should be issued ASAP because it will turn off people from this game.

Amarr Battleship Skill Bonuses:
+10% to Drone damage and Hit Points (replaced large energy turret rate of fire)
+10% Energy Neutralizer and Energy Vampire range (replaced large energy turret cap use)

Slot layout: 7H(-1), 4M(+1), 7L(-1); 5 turrets(-2) , 5 launchers(+5)


I'm starting to think that ccp have lost sight of things, let us dilute every race to use every weapon, drone and module allowing no real specialisation in any one race meaning that if you want to be good with any one race you need to train every go dam thing clever when you think about it make people spend years training things so they can use a single race's ships.

I am a sad pony, for years i have seen the backbone of the amarian empire, the pride and joy of the empress laying low the enemies of the faithfull. The geddon in its current form is the history of eve, 7 lazors and plates to outlast bigger ships and the first real turret battleship u could get into. It is the amarr combat philosophy given form.

Im sad to see it go, more over im sad to see what it will become, due to bonuses it will now be fitted with neuts and blasters, it will become a shaddow of the domi and all that history will be lost. They need to fix that, seriously this is hurtfull to my inner vet, why did they do this?

as for the phoon, why? it is minmatar tradition to crossfit high slots and they are getting rid of it via the cyclone, nag and now the phoon. the phoon is actually really good and well ballanced as a crossfit. we dont need an armor tanked raven.

The mega looks kewl exept the med/low slot change. its an armor ship, shure u could shield it and it would do well but its an armor ship. keep the old slot layout.

All in all it seems kinda great.

My only worry would be that the apoc will be downright OP in various types of fleet battles.

Scorch + long range + speed will make it a very very powerful battleship indeed.

Well overpowered geddon is online , i mean if you want to change all of the small BS tiers to EW warfare at least give the same racial bonus to the other races.

My final opiniuon is that the geddon wasn't a broken ship , it was very balanced and awesome in small to med gangs , now it is a powerhouse in small gang warfare overpowered enven

uh, no, no neut bonus on the armageddon, the bhaal does that, and it shouldn't be encroached upon because it is an extremely powerful ship, armageddon should NOT take that role at a mere fraction of cost. (To be honest i dont know what it should do currently, but the bhaal's job is NOT what)

Apocalypse needs built in laser cap bonus. If it doesn't have that already.

The Bhaal gets a Neut effect bonus, great for once things do get in range, useless outside of it. I see the new 'Geddon as a balancing factor to the Bhaal by granting us a ship that has a nuet range bonus.

keep to the history of the game when making these changes instead of diluting the blood lines as it was.

after further though... I actually love the geddon, its going to be so nasty, it will **** everything, and also, who cares about nagas, if they get into the neut range they wont fire, if they are outside the neut range, their DPS its way too low and they wont be able to tackle you anyway.

also the bonus being different to that of the bhaalgorn makes it pretty neat.

The Geddon has always relied heavily on it's very large drone bay, and Amarr ships in general have always relied heavily on Neuts/Nos combat... they have also always had varieties of ships that specialize in missiles as well.

Learn your history before you try and defend it.

Baddon - was good still is good

Apoc - not a huge fan of the HP nerf, (I think most BSs need a HP buff) but i love the tracking bonus, i just hope its cap stable enough for missioners.

Geddon - newts are popular on drone boats, i think Kil2 knows this and wanted to give it a none OP bonus to suit that taste, i like it. Also a torp geddon? is it my birthday already?!

Never liked Gallente, Hence why am I bit miffed at the Geddon, If I wanted Hybrids and Drones I'd have Trained Gallente not Amarr.
