EVE Online: Retribution 1.0 Issues

I want to give some feedback as a industrial player to the new expansion as i tested and worked a bit.


---
1) I dont know if its already known but the client doesnt save the last corp-division at the pos. Its annoying to select the right division over and over. It always starts with the first division.

2) I still have low fps while working at the pos. (not tested pvp or pve so far)

3) Randomly giving bounty on persons is not that good like before. I even can give bounty to myself?!

4) It still take way to long to open my corphangar at station. He just open some divisions! I have tons of bpc's behind that divisions yes, but not directly behind the corphangar. I have to klick several times and to wait to open this one corphangar. If u have to open it a lot, it really annoys you.

5) i just tried to look at the corphangars on the right side, not at the left side. Is this not possible? If i click on the arrow +name then the list of division pops out. Better is: Click on arrow, corphangar pops out. Click on whole name: Divisions shon on the left side as well. Just some hints...

1) Good thing is that the range to the other modules is shown now. It really helps.

2) Moving items to other containers and stuff is quit fast now, good!

3) New Hardener Icons are a nice idea, but you can set the colors better. Look at the passive and active Shield Hardener or the armor ones, its not that perfect i think.

1) Not sure - but SPAM charges seem to be applied even though a friend of mine has me as a contact in his address book.
I had him remove the spam charges all together so we can chat..

2) UI is borked. I have Inventory - Cargohold tab in same tab group as overview.. Since new release every session change the Inventory tab jumps to the foreground and I have to fight UI to bring overview back into focus..

The solar system map won't auto-center on selected objects as before, i.e. celestials, signatures, etc.

Although this doesn't break anything, it makes scanning a bit more tedious. After gleaning the patch notes, I don't see any changes that would affect this. Hopefully, it's a bug and not a new feature.

I am having an issue when I get to the log on screen. Instead of it updating to the server and the number of people online it just says checking status. I've tried clearing my cache, reset my router, and I still can't connect. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

They have always been reliable for me. The trick is to either select your target in the overview window before hitting the shortcut, or have no window selected at all (click in space), hold your shortcut, then click your target in space or the overview. Try it out.

issues PC:

Scan screen probes keep randomly jumping up and down the sceen different places in list, this causes the location to move in space even though it is not....

example .... probe
1 location p x1 y1 z1 scans x1x1 y1x 1 z 1x1
/2 location p x2 y2 z2 scans x2x2 y2x 2 z 2x2
/3 location x3 y3 z3 scans x3x3 y3x 3 z 3x3
/4 location probe 4 x4 y4 z4 scans x4x4 y4x4 z 4x4

now location swappes w location 4 etc and the probe misreades the info on return making the scanned location move in space phenominally ie

1 location 4 x4 y4 z4 scans x4x4 y4x4 z 4x4
/2 location p x2 y2 z2 scans x2x2 y2x 2 z 2x2
/3 location x3 y3 z3 scans x3x3 y3x 3 z 3x3
/4 location probe p x1 y1 z1 scans x1x1 y1x 1 z 1x1

if probe 4 thinks its probe 1 and gives back a location that is in error makes it difficult to find actual location
( draw 4 locations on a table and label each one and save the location, now swap the names of the locations only and give correct locations of each one in doing so you give name = location = original = error simply because it is not the same spot that you are trying to report back from)


launchers LG and small you have successfully nullified large launchers as w no items /rigs to enhance range of missles the range of small missles are exactly the same as a large missle....



the damage calculation is still erronous this is an issue from years ago.. the calculation is (damage times amount of bays) instead of (damage + damage + (until amount of bays) )

i bring this up simply because of the new calculation on the missles make the damage of the large missles the exact same as the small missles making the large missle completely worthless

So, today I did first mission after Retribution kicked in, and I've encountered few issues. To better explain them - pls see the Images.
1-st image:
Retribution Issue 1
1) The notification are drawn over the modules, that are active on targets. In the image under "1" you can see there is a missile launcher, but It's under a notification. Solution - allow people to move those notifications.
2) Can't see the range, and again, cause - notifications.
The new target icons have few problems (may be you don't experience them, but I, playing on 1024x768, do):
3) On my resolution, 6 targets fit in the first row and CNR can lock 7 of them. Before Retribution, if I would kill any of the first locked 6 targets, the 7-th would jump from the 2-nd row to the first, and there wouldn't be any problems like this.

2-nd image:

The target Icons are displayed above the information about this system, but the info on that target is below. Wouldn't hurt to give targets info some backgrounf and move it to front, so I could see it.

Same problem as in the 1. image 3. point, but amplified by Noctis ability to target 10 targets.

Another small issue - it seems, that when i salvage a wreck, and then try to open the remains to "Loot all", it opens slower then it used to. Sometimes upward to 0.5-1 sec. And it is a problem in a mission like this, when there are many wrecks to loot.

About drones:
ok, so I didn't had big problems, cause the bug is still not fixed for return to bay and redeploy again, but when in the last room there were 3 frigates 30 km away. I get an aggro from them. Send my drones to kill them and start watching overview to see if my drones get targeted. As soon as indicator on frig turned yellow I recalled them. But by the time they got back, one of them was already bleeding into structure. By that time frigs were 23km away. So I ask you - what is the point of having 45km work range for drones, if they can get shot to pieces at 25 km? And that was a T2 hobgoblin, with good drone skills.
OK, if you don't wanna adjust the aggro on NPC's, then buff drones. Something like twice the HP and twice the speed would give players, that don't AFK missions, ability to save those drones (most of the time). But current situation, after the redeploy bug will be fixed, is very, very unpleasant. Especially for those who are dedicated, legit drone boat pilots.

retrebution 1.0.2 problem:

I'm running a nvidia quadro 140m graphical card and i lag when i look at astroids.
I did not had this problem before. just now with retrebution.

What happened to the red glow over saftied weapons? Cleared cache and not tracking cam is working properly.

Several really irritating problems.

Everything was fine when I was in Solitude. I played up there for about 12 hours since the patch. No problems. Then . . .

Problem 1. I JCed back to main and bought an expensive set of implants for my JC. My completion time for Industry V went from 2 days to 17. Well I can live with that.

Problem 2. I was flying a Vigilant in Solitude. Seven targets. About 700 damage per salvo. No problem with launching 5 drones at a time.

Well, I bought a Vigilant in Jita and fitted it the same way.

Guess what I have now?

Max of two targets. Can't launch a single drone. 15 DP per salvo.

I thought, "Oh, well. Just a glitch." So I restarted the client and was able to finish the mission with pretty much normal capabilities.

So I took another mission.

When I started the engagement, same thing. Can't launch ANY drones. Max of 2 targets. 15 DP per salvo.

I'm really not comfortable taking a 300 mil ISK ship out of station with these attributes.

Just clone jumped on my alt from a +2 implant set with 19 days left on advanced weapon upgrade 5 -- 19 days left --- i jumped into a plus4 (slot 1-5) implants --- now the training time is 22 days 12 hrs? -- so instead of decreasing the training time it has increased it by 3 days 12 hrs. can the devs fix this. I have petitioned this.
I will expect all the missing skill points to be returned.

Negative loggin in and out doesnt work, Ive logged out and back in three times -- so your advice is false
This issue seems to have been goin on since at least wednesday.
