If you played this game long enough there wasn't a chance in hell that you didn't know who Vile Rat was. Even if you never had the pleasure of meeting him personally, EVE Online is the way it is today due in large part to Vile Rat's work within it. He was a veteran both in and out of EVE, serving his country as well as Goonswarm with honor and an overwhelming sense of duty.

He will be sorely missed.
