The tooltips are way to large, and I really wish there will be an option to turn them off.

For what? Trolling what? Or posting against pvp pilots on a regular basis?

Couldn't you all just not use the tooltips?

Just use the hot keys to activate your modules and groups. Mouse over for tooltip if you want to see info. This should be such a non issue.

Screw having to use a keyboard tbh.

Trolling everything. Your shiptoasting is full of negative attitude and adds no value to these forums. Grow up.

this tooltip assumes that new players don;'t know what they fit on their ships. That is pretty offensive, imho.

And why the icons ??

There is nothing wrong with ccp has done and ill be damned if sum idiot pvper is gonna start a thread nought because you feel slighted over a change that is designed for new players

Coming from someone who has made two posts on this thread uses abusive language rather than static English words to convey his temperament. You tell me to grow up? Ironic no? I can troll anyone without swearing or being personal.

Question is, and the answer is right here

a, Can you?

A - Clearly not

Take your own advice little man :)

Looking at your other posts elsewhere, the same there as well. Irony in all its glory no?

Yea i agree, invulns should be colored for type, blue, gray, yellow, etc....

as for the mouse over they need to add a small delay 1-2 second mouse over to activate the tooltip thats a big one.

It is too big.
Option to have it disabled.
For me it's just like having Aura pop up all the time telling you , did you know that your guns and missile information can be displayed here.

YES AURA I KNOW THAT. Click away do not show tool tip again. Thank you.

+1 For new player for information, great addition, but once you get pass that and learn the game mechanics, it becomes annoying.

+1 for option to disable it.

You -could- tint the hardener icons according to their resist type though, much like target jammers are color coded, but that would probably make too much sense.

Actually yea the ability to turn them on and off would be better. i know my fits and really dont need themm.. they have some useful info but only if you dont know what ur skills are for the weapons you are using... once u know that they are kinda in the way. should be easy no? its not like UI where you woul dhave to keep 2 dev streams just a disable switch.

AND a delay if it was on :P

We need to be able to turn these off. They cover half the screen with information 95% of people will already know about their ship & mods.

You are not going to need to see the name of the mod, the dps and amount of ammo, every time you move your mouse over an icon. You should know what gun you have fitted, you can see the ammo load all the time in the centrs of the icon.

Correct. Too much sense and actually be useable.

When you are in the middle of a battle, the last thing you need is these things popping up all the time when you are trying to kill / stay alive.

Keep the option for new players, but let the rest of us turn them off., Yeah, and put a longer delay on mouse over, 3 seconds at least.

So you are doing this so that someone, someday, MAY forget where he put his hardener ?

Seriously ?

Please allow the other 99.9999% of the people to turn it off.

Its funny cus I don't think theyre actually that big. Maybe it would better if they were scale-able as well?

I like them because I forget my optimals and falloffs every time I leave a ship and I really dont like the tactical bubble grid thing.

But yea i guess an option to turn it off would be good as well for those that don't like them. Or at least an option for a compressed version maybe.

Great idea, but +1 to the calls to have an option to disable the tool tips on mouseover.
