New modules tooltips ....

they are too big, don't provide any useful information. What's even worse, they look bad (text<->picture alignment mismatch).

this tooltip assumes that new players don;'t know what they fit on their ships. That is pretty offensive, imho.

They are nice BUT put like a 1 sec delay on them before they pop up so those of us that keep track of what we have on outr ships dont get a big wall of info when we are just going to quickly click the mod. make it more of a hover still for 1 full sec to show the pop up.

Other then that i like them..

Would it be possible to alter the icons of the resist modules so that they're not the same then?


I love the tooltips, with the range of characters and ships I fly and ammo bonuses I love being able to instantly see what my current range is.

Make it at least a 2sec wait before popping up, it's driving me insane already, and I'm just activating the ice Harvesters on my Mack

This is probably one of the best changes to the UI so far. Nice and informative. Loving the heat damage % as well.

A delay wouldn't be such a great idea if you want the info there and then imo.

Yeah put both the armor and shield:

EM resist modes blue color
Thermal red
Explosive orange
Kinetic green or gray

BALEX, bringing piracy on a whole new level.

Couldn't you all just not use the tooltips?

Just use the hot keys to activate your modules and groups. Mouse over for tooltip if you want to see info. This should be such a non issue.

Actually yea the ability to turn them on and off would be better. i know my fits and really dont need themm.. they have some useful info but only if you dont know what ur skills are for the weapons you are using... once u know that they are kinda in the way. should be easy no? its not like UI where you woul dhave to keep 2 dev streams just a disable switch.

AND a delay if it was on :P

Stop crying over no delay. That would simply be annoying when you're in a hurry to get the information (Which is essentially every single time you'll be needing it). It's one of the changes I actually like.

There is nothing wrong with ccp has done and ill be damned if sum idiot pvper is gonna start a thread nought because you feel slighted over a change that is designed for new players

1. the text and size is fine, if u cant read it, get glasess
2. it is not offensive, i often forget what mods ive got on a ship when im out in it alot

According to your alt you have been playing for at least 5 months.. this is almost long enough to know what guns you can use can do and their ranges.

There should be a disable possibility for this because there are very many players that already know exactly what their guns do and their ranges ect. In fact most competent players would know this and if not they look it up once or twice and remember. its not needed to be reminded of it every time you go to click said module.

Why is Taranius de Trollville not banned yet? Not a single constructive post.

The tooltips are way to large, and I really wish there will be an option to turn them off.
