Yes, but ....

I am only just back from holidays. My contracts and prepared stocks all ran out while I was away and I haven't yet managed to get myself out to hisec since returning home. Given that my w-systems are all clean and tidy now (no surviving sleepers as at this morning) I expect to get out to hisec over the weekend.

Once there, I will setup some more stocks of these kits, and will pass the BMs over to a hisec-dwelling alt ... something I prolly should have done a while ago.

If you mail me, ingame, with what you're after i'll set a personal contract to you when I get it done. i have a number of others waiting in that situation also.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Thanks everyone. Lots of happy customers who have enjoyed and who have pocketed isk.

One customer death I am aware of* ... warping directly to nullsec station (rather than first to the approach-bookmark provided) and getting bubble-ganked as a result.

Hisec supply of kits is a bit low atm, as I have been in w-space for most of the last couple of months and my stocks in the empire stations have pretty well sold-out. So, if you can't find a kit on the market please mail me and I'll try remedy that problem.

Next time I'm out in empire space I will transfer everything to a hisec corp-mate alt. tried to use the corp-bookmark facility (btw I love, love, love it) but have way too many bookmarks for that.

I'm also holidaying for the next ten days or so, without internet access, and will not be responding to enquiries as promptly as I'd like.

Edit: Ooops, two, but not sure of circumstances of the second.

The second was my other char. Nothing you couldve saved, I was teasing someone on a gate for a little to long.

It's been a while ... bump Big smile

p.s. Both of these arcs can be solo completed in a t1 frigate. I used an autocannon rifter. It was nowhere near as quick and easy as the wolf, but I managed just fine.

Brilliant idea !!!

Good luck with the biz.

Just a thought. Have you thought of putting contracts up of recommeded ships w\fittings? I did it with an inti, but didn't think of t1 frigs (I could work it out myself, but I'm lazy)

I did give some thought to ferrying in some ships and renting / selling them to pirate arc runners. In the end I decided it'd probably be too much hassle for too little return.

Btw I have found assault frigates by far the quickest ship for these arcs ... with the wolf the best I have tried so far.

Id probally buy a package with the Bm's and a prefit inty. specially if it was close to the starting mission locations.

Yes, I expect some people would .... but have a quick think about the variables.

6 starter locations and 2 nullsec mission hubs. 3 races and 'pirate' cross-race with probably 1 - 8 eligible ship types each. several weapon systems and levels, and close-up v long-range options. etc etc etc.

The permutations, or is it combinations, of all those are pretty staggering. Even running a 50-100% market markup that is a lot of logistics supports, spread very widely, for precious little return. So, Tivern et al, I'd love to be able to also provide that service ... and believe me I did look at in closely ... but it just plain doesn't strike me as a viable proposition.

Sorry bout that :-(

bump for a great service.

Just invested in one of the packs, received the pdf manual way faster than i expected.

had a quick skim of the guide and its great, loads of detail.

Would definitely recommend the seller to anyone intrested in doing the arcs, great service and fast transaction.

Thanks for the comment, and hearty thanks to all those who've used our packages and reported their experiences back to me.

All going well. The steady trickly of customers means there are now hundreds of pirate arc runners who're getting thru easily, first time round, with our support kits readily to hand.

There's also a couple of unfortunate souls who get themselves caught but most, by their own admission, are doing something either outside the approach recommended (e.g. warping directly to a busy nulslec station and getting caught in a bubble) or are inviting trouble (e.g. taunting gate campers and getting caught by a 'ceptor using a tactical bookmark).

Updates

I obviously have to update the wolf fitting in tyhe main manual, to recognise the new-improved-wolf.

The ability to remotely complete the first mission appears to have been nerfed with crucible. I've tried a couple of times in the last week and cannot complete the first mission by remotely contacting the second agent. Hmmphhh Cry

So, you talk about these "safe" bookmarks, but what's to stop pirates from purchasing the guide, spreading it amongst their corp, and setting their bubbles up at said bookmarks?

Seems kind of flawed.

i think, if you read the thread, and the FAQs in the initial postings, you will find responses to that.

Very much stood the test of time now ... despite all the piwate types trying to bigtalk themselves.

Six months now, and still going strong.

Heaps of happy customers out there and no-one, so far, who has expressed any dissatisfaction with our product or our service.

From my perspective, even if the package did not provide the information necessary to complete the pirate arcs, the amount of work that went into creating the package was worth the price.

LOL, excellent! Not only that, but it **does** contain all of that information …. Like everything except the kitchen sink and steak knives Roll

Thanks very much.

IMHO it is a good product and well worth a heap more isk than we’re asking.

I do get a bit cranky with knee-jerkers who assume it’s a scam or make all sorts of negative comments from a start-point of abject ignorance. Thankfully this product has stood the test of time very well now and even tho only a small portion of users have posted here the comments and feedback from users has been overwhelmingly positive. Makes me happy to have built something so useful … and even happier to be able to make a few isk from the effort Big smile

Updates

A number of small typos and minor things have been corrected in both manuals.

Ship fitting advice has been updated in the manuals ... to better reflect the AF-buff and the new wolf.

The ability to remotely complete the first mission is inconsistent since crucible. I've amended those 'tip' sections in the manual but have had mixed success in doing this. Soon after the crucible update my toons were unable to complete the first (guristas) mission remotely. Last weekend I was able to complete the first (angels) mission remotely. Now not sure if it's a guristas-only problem or something that has since been fixed.

Advice: Try it, it can save you a lot of time/hassle, but do not be surprised or upset if it doesn't work.
