Our industry is already looked upon rather dimly, and this is just plain embarrassing. Why do you not just leave the game ?

Well, what exactly is it that you want them to do about it? Maybe they are bots, and maybe they are not, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that aside from some slightly better fits, what else can they do?

This is the issue with suicide ganking, there is nothing that you can do about it except to wait there and run the lottery hoping that today is not going to be your turn. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't.

I personally think that that killboard illustrates a much larger issue:- doing all that damage in just 8 days means the gaining of security status is just too damn easy. THAT'S the broken game mechanic....

Totally agree. Suicide ganking is... wait for it... risk-free isk! If you have a cargo scanner, the only "risk" is that your target will drop less than you expected them to, and therefore you'll lose money on your "investment" of a cheap ganking ship. The sec status loss is a slap on the wrist; it means nothing when you can gank so many times and still not be shot on site, and when you can grind it up again so quickly.

Of course its also "PVP" so anyone complaining about it is a carebear who hates EVE.

tech 2 ship, Tech 2 fit, popped by solo Cat's and some how it's thier fault they didn't super gimp thier fit.

No worries, it will be a long time coming before CCP do anything.

The miners in Genesis are aware of the problem.

They are not bots.

But all miners tend to go afk at their peril.

Once you are locked in a Hulk you are pretty much dead.

Edit to add that solo ganking like this is the new normal in hisec.

A suicide ganker will arrive in a .5 or .6 system, pick a target, gank a Hulk, savor the tears from the poor noob that just got ganked and leave.

Happens everyday, everywhere.

Gank and salvage those who don't understand the lesson, have a clone in null and a rating ships to raise your ss from -10 to +0 in a couple of hours, why the fun part or actually being able to play the game should be just for a few ones?-do it too

It's not a SANDBOX no matter what, nothing that you achieve will ever be different than kill the DK king of Ice Crown again and again for gazillions of times, difference here being that you are the rabbit being killed for xp (kb) and for no reason but just because it's the way it is

Stop being a rabbit and can flip, gank, steal, scam because that's what the real Eve Online game is about, but if you don't, then you will always be a poor victim just because you like it.

Suicide ganking is allowed. Get used to it, or go back to whatever disgusting WoW clone you came from - and take your horse with you.

The fact that you don't want to "gimp" your fit (i.e. lose mining yield) to tank your ship is irrelevant.
