Seriously though, it really does look as if Mr The Apostle is a FANGER PAPIT of the The Mittani. Until threads about that dumb article he wrote were spammed here i'd never heard of him. The Goons just seem to be a stew of those sexually confused types that are halted developmentally in that 'messing with people' phase of adolescence. No great plus to the game, no real problem either.
Are we to look forward to a weekly content-free thread here about A Mittani's ultra-ordinary desire to be an important person at the center of something big? What fun!

Change the behavior of people in high sec? Why would that concern you? Who are YOU to want MY behavior changed? Personally, I'd like to see YOUR behavior changed, but I'm not going to advocate changing the game dynamics to accomplish that. Some things are not under ones purview, this being one.

Here's an idea. You stay out on the end of the map where you think all the cool kids are, and I'll stay in my little inconsequential corner. You behave like you wish. I'll do the same.

Change our behavior...pffft. My hubris meter broke on that one.

Ok pubbies, here's some realtalk. The way you play the game in highsec is horrible. Mining for hours on end while making tiny amounts of isk, running level 4 missions until your eyes bleed, playing 1-isk trading games in Jita and whatever other lame activities you take part in while confining yourselves to .5 space and higer. We can't sit back any longer and let you ruin your lives this way. We're going to teach you to actually have fun in this horrible game and it will be glorious.

Thats the thing though.. nothing you said is actually true. Mining for hours is extremely profitable. Running level 4 missions is probobly one of the most profitable things you can do in Eve today next to 1sk trading games which yield multiple billions for people on a weekly basis.

So while you may see them as boring and lame activities, to claim they aren't profitable only shows how little you actually know about it.

The proposed changes to High Sec are the direct result of these observation about high sec activities. They are so profitable and so worthwhile (if ISK is what you are after and most people are) that going into low sec and null sec comparitiavly can only be described as "idiotic" by comparison.

This is the part I think they are attacking in terms of proposed changes. The proposed change can essentially be boiled down to "Make High Sec Less Profitable".

The observation that people would quit by the thousands if this were to happen is I believe quite accurate given that High Sec is the only reason the large majority of people in Eve play this game.

On a side note, I don't get why thats the case either and I agree most High Sec activites are so boring you have to wonder what exactly drives people to sit in front of their screen for hours to earn ISK, a pretend digital currency, when they have no plans to put that ISK to anything ambitious or useful other than making more ISK. The whole High Sec lifestyle just lacks ambition yet its repeated by daily by such a large portion of the population I can't help but feel like I've missed something.

lol at the goonie calling the rest of us pubbies, it's sad to think that you still think you're relevant to EVE.
Maybe at the start you were fun and edgy but like most things in life by the time most people find out about something it's moment has already past.

There's only a couple of people in the Goons that people should even take a small amount of interest in as for the rest of you ..you're bascially dingleberries hanging out of a baboons starfish. I for one realise in the grand scheme of EVE I'm jack, nothing, a nobody but I for one at least realise this and don't hang on the coat-tails of others.

Funny how the winter expansion is on it's way and Mitt's is now talking about hi-sec, nothing like insider-trading to warm the cockles of your heart.

Considering most goons go directly to nullsec without spending any time in empire we find highsec to be a strange experience. Luckily for all of you are willing to endure it to make the game better for everybody.
