Very nicely spoken! I can't wait to find out what exciting forms of teaching you folk bring to we hisec carebears :)

That's assuming you get to the doing part, of course. I know a lot of you folk start to pee your pants when you get to hisec due to the sheer number of neutrals in local.

Considering most goons go directly to nullsec without spending any time in empire we find highsec to be a strange experience. Luckily for all of you are willing to endure it to make the game better for everybody.

Also, an op has been posted on the holy Goon forums to kick off our Highsec Reeducation Campaign...expect more details soon!

Sheep teaching sheep.

Great.

Or does it mean there will finally come the time,
when big alliances actually matter for those not caring ?
Like ... in a bigger picture ?

Really having influence onto those not participating in your
0.0-carebear-space-is-so-awesome-bullshit ? ^^

Like ... they are forced to care ?
That'd be great. :)

Until then -> *shrug*

Change the behavior of people in high sec? Why would that concern you? Who are YOU to want MY behavior changed? Personally, I'd like to see YOUR behavior changed, but I'm not going to advocate changing the game dynamics to accomplish that. Some things are not under ones purview, this being one.

Here's an idea. You stay out on the end of the map where you think all the cool kids are, and I'll stay in my little inconsequential corner. You behave like you wish. I'll do the same.

Change our behavior...pffft. My hubris meter broke on that one.

Excuse me, but it doesn't work like that.
In no way.

If "these guys" finally realize that they are just boring morons in their own playground,
and start moving to highsec in numbers ... like ... few hundreds for a start ? ... at once ...
... you can bet your ass they'll change your behaviour in one way or the other.

And you can't do a thing about it.
Ain't that great ? :D

Would be the first time "these guys who believe they matter" really start to matter.

Looking forward to it ! :D

Thats the thing though.. nothing you said is actually true. Mining for hours is extremely profitable. Running level 4 missions is probobly one of the most profitable things you can do in Eve today next to 1sk trading games which yield multiple billions for people on a weekly basis.

my experience:

mining in high-sec is a pita - why do you think it is so hard to get basic ores/minerals in 0.0 even if you have a nice group of dedicated miners? because apparently ABC ores are the only way to get a decent income through mining...

high-sec mission running does fall short of mission running in 0.0 (payouts & LP rewards are about 50% higher in 0.0, also pirate LP do usually sell for much more ISK/LP than LP of high-sec corporations), is comparable to running CAs in 0.0 if you are really optimizing your mission-running and does just not compare to Incursions (in an organized group) or farming a c5/c6.

When I lived in 0.0 those who wanted to be able to afford a supercarrier (and were not already rich or risked running bots) would usually disappear into wormholes for a few weeks.

A T2-fit Zealot or Guardian (one faction hardener to lower cpu needs) can earn 80-100m/h doing Incursions - try to get a comparable income doing high-sec mission running (on a single account) and your ship will probably cost 20x as much and you'll still fall short in earnings.

The problem with this sort of approach is that it calculates only ISK/HOUR and nothing else goes into the equation (a rather constant reminder of how the perspective of your Eve life influences yuo).

For example High sec mission running compared to 0.0 mission running are not comprabable operations in the slightest. I mean ya if your in a big alliance that controls SOV in an area and everyone is blue to you, it might have some simularities but the risks for most people to even be in 0.0 let alone run missions their is no contest. Get ganked once and that ISK/HOUR ratio is comprable to running level 1 missions.

Incursions is a rather new thing and not entirely approachable to everyone. Your talking T2 Zealots or Guardians like they are throw away ships or something. You can start running Level 4 missions in less than a month (I know I did it) while getting into a Zealot.. well I have no idea how long it would take but their are 5 level 5 skills needed just to get into the thing. And I don't know what level 4 missions your running but I earn about 80-100 million ISK an hour doing Level 4's, sometimes considerably better than that depending on the drops and missions I get.

For No risk, high rewards their is nothing comprable to Level 4 missions. Incursions is a close second, but with proper management of the assets you gain from missions, Level 4's still come out on top.

The reality of Eve is that, if you don't love it like it is today, you should probobly go ahead and unsub.

And this is whats broken about the nullsec-lowsec-highsec dynamic. Glad to know that as long as no one is actually saying it should be fixed the carebears admit how broken it is Lol

FANGER PAPIT

Forgive my ignorance being an Aussie and all. What is this? If it's sposed to be "finger puppet", 'fraid not.

Not knowing "The Mittani" in his role as CEO of Goons and Chairman of the CSM (The purported Eve player representative committee) is probably not unusual if you only breath highsec space dust.

But I suspect you'll get to know his band of merry men soon enough. Sad

Fanger Papit i sez. I'm an Aussie too.
The reason i'd never heard of A Mittani is because the CSM struck me as metagaming by 0.0 metagamers, utterly irrelevant to me.
0.0 is just like hisec really, just multiply all costs and rewards by 10, add some jobless narcissists yelling about CTAs and you've got a rigid hierarchy of slaves paddling a very few people to massive computer-play-money.
Oh and anybody involved in RMT is a revolting loser, end of story.
The goons gonna come dec hisec? Everyone in npc corps. 24/7 ganking? Big deal. Really, not interesting or significant.
Everyone's heard of the goons, but no-one listens, they have no credibility. You think this latest wad of "I'm right i was right even if i was wrong" wet toilet paper is gonna mean anything?
Prove you're not a FANGER PAPIT, don't post anything about goons for a long while.
