In light of the coming csm election, i feel disheartened by all the rancorous venom, the searing hatred that is spewing from some folks.
The slanderous accusations of scamming and griefing when in fact we are merely bearing the Goon's burden so you don't have to.

Take up the Goon's burden

In patience to abide

To veil the threat of terror

And check the show of pride;

By open speech and simple

An hundred times made plain

Why do EVE players feel they are entitled to determine the game's direction anyway ? I can't even get the corner store to carry my brand of Granola.........

Things come and go. Games come and go. If CCP screws up, let them. SOMEone else will come along with a better game. May take awhile, may not.

If EVE had continued the Fail after the Summer of Rage, so be it. They would have sunk so low, lost so many players, they would have been forced to re-tool anyway. Probably in better ways than folks with the mentality of the current candidates for CSM can imagine.

Besides, are the changes so far REALLY what YOU honestly had in mind ????

And if all had failed, We would have found something else to do anyway, I guarantee it.

This 'complex program' is not the be all and end all to life as seems to be portrayed.

Sorry goonswarm guys. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but...

To most of the Eve populace Goonswarm members are, metaphorically, the Apple Computer owners of Eve. Ugh

No one, other than you, thinks that you cool, hip, or impressive. You are just another member in an alliance, and most of us really don't give a flying fck what ANY corp or alliance does, including our own. We certainly don't care about some self-congratulatory carebear mega-alliance that fashions itself as edgy -- and whos' members feel compelled to rush to the forums every day to tell the Eve world how special they are.
