CCP Vampire game.

I kind of have high hopes in the vampire game after they gave some info about their plans. My hope kinda dies realizing the games still in pre-production after 5 years.

WiS was first announced at FanFest 2006 wasn't it? So we're in year five there, and it's still not been released. We have CQ but no multiplayer content, and CCP admitting they don't know how to solve that kind of interaction yet. WoD is a complete new game as well so even with the graphics engine, they'd have to put all content in too.

Blizzard took whatever 7 years? to release Warcraft 3, and Starcraft 2 and WoW was in production for quite a while as well. CCP is alot slower than that company tho. I'd say reasonable timeframe for WoD release atm would be 2013-2014.

AFK-cloaking in a system near you.

CCP started work on eve online in 1997 and finally released it in 2003? Sometimes for MMO's a long development time is a good thing.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

You might want to get a clue about how a games company works and what each department does before you start making assumptions.

I think this is something many don't get.

I'm an avid critic of CCP and gave them alot of smack last three months. But one thing I won't give them **** for is, is using resources for out-of-EVE productions. Take a look at EA, or Blizzard, or smaller companies. Almost every single one of them has several productions being paid for by their bigger or main product. And hell this is not only game industry, same for cars, electronics, etc.. not to mention that in this case CCP can even learn something from the process.

Giving someone **** is one thing, but it should be deserved, not just random pointing of fingers.

Agreed. I would also point out that this is something that makes great publicity for CCP. Good publicity for CCP means more publicity in EvE which means more subs which means more money which means more devs and better expansions and more content more often and more bugfixes...need I go on?
